This is the newest addition to our meter product line, the Universal OmniMeter II v.3 UL accurately meters all electrical systems commonly used in the world--120V, 2-wire, single-phase through 240v, 3-phase 4-wire, 50Hz or 60Hz. Meter up to 5000A!

Supports current transformers (CTs) from 100A through 5000A. CT current rating is selectable internally in the meter so readout is always correct, no conversion factor or multiplier.

Reads kWh, Reverse kWh (for solar), Voltage on each line, Current on each line, Power (watts) on each line, Power Factor on each line, Maximum Demand, CT Ratio, 6 months of monthly reads stored on-board the meter with 4 TOU rates, 4 Times of day, 4 Seasons, Weekends and Holidays!! All readable and log-able via RS-485 and user friendly PC, Mac and Linux software.

This is a new kWh meter design manufactured by EKM Metering. It is the most advanced electronic KWH meter available on the market. Our Universal EKM-OmniMeter can meter any system that is commonly used in the world. It can accurately meter 50 or 60Hz, 120V through 240V, 1-phase or 3-phase, it is accurate to 0.5% and can meter up to 5000 amps. Installation is easy with external current transformers (CTs). However, installation should only be performed by a qualified electrician. This model requires 1 to 3 CTs, depending on your electrical system. Spec sheet/instruction manual included. Dimensions are approx. 4"w x 4"h x 2.5"d.

These meters have a non-resettable, 7 digit LCD readout with tenths, and read directly in kWh, no conversion factors as with some other electronic meters. These also have built-in data storage which is readable via a 2-wire RS-485 serial connection to your PC (connections A, B and G in the photo). In addition, they have a built-in pulse output, 800 pulses per kWh. They are perfect for remote and automatic meter reading (AMR) applications for sub-billing or measurement and verification (M&V).
