This is the only thing that will hold my hair

My hair is long, thick, and heavy. A friend at work gave me one of these twist n clips to try. I was skeptical because I thought all my hair had to fit in it. It doesn't. I roll it up into a bun and just clip the edge of the bun and fit in the amount of hair it can hold. Because my hair is heavy and has a slick texture, it can start to slide out of place after a few hours, but I can fix this by making the bun while my hair is wet. This can also be used to make a bun with just some of your hair, clip the top with this product, then put the remainder of the hair over the mini-bun. I have included a pic, and you can barely see on top where the hook is poking out. Ponytails always hurt my head if they were high, and if they were low, my hair would get really tangled behind my neck. This keeps my hair off my neck and tangle free. I am going to buy more.

    Wonderful product for coarse hair!!

I have heavy, coarse hair and almost nothing can hold it. :o( Until now!! :o) I am all thumbs with hair to begin with. Having the heavy, coarse hair has only made things worse. I love to put my hair in a half-pony, give it about 4 or 5 twists and then shove it upward to give it a nice bump-- weave/clip the Twist n Clip into place, and WOW! My hair stays put all day. I have been asked quite a few times about my 'hairdo' and I've even been asked a few times if I'm wearing a Bumpit. I rather doubt, though, that this product would work well for someone with fine hair. I think maybe this clip needs a lot of substance to 'bite' into. My only complaint is that the price is ridiculous. Ten bucks for 4 little pieces of plastic is horrible. But I love my Twist n Clips and I guess, as with all products, the consumer is at the mercy of high prices for little product.

    A must-have for every female

I first purchased a set of the Twist N Clips a couple of years ago. I love them!! Traditional hair clips are uncomfortable and don't always keep my hair up (I have long, thick hair). The jumbo Twist N Clips get the job done, though, when I want to wear my hair up. For extra hold, I pull my hair back into a low ponytail (with a ponytail holder), then twist my hair and add the clip. The regular size clips are good when I just want to pull a few strands back. Since I like to have extra clips, I decided I needed to purchase some more Twist N Clips this year. They are not available at any of my local stores (even Walmart), so I ordered them online. I bought 2 extra sets this time. If you use traditional clips, you will like these SOOOOO much better. They're so easy to use, and much more comfortable.

    Love my Twist n Clip

I was given the Twist n Clip as a gift from my boyfriend's mom. I had seen them on tv, but wasn't sure if it would work with my hair, since it's thick and half way down my back. But it worked! I looked at the examples in the booklet and watched the youtube instructional videos. It took me a few tries, but I finally got it to hold. The videos and instructions were hard to follow and didn't work too well for my hair, but I was able to twist my hair to the side and clip it so it looks like a flipped over ponytail. I even got creative and made two little braids, one on each side. The I bought the ends together at the back of my head and clipped them to my hair. They stayed in all day. I was surprised and so happy. Two thumbs up!
I wanted to be able to use this so badly, but I just couldn't make it work. I have fine, fairly thin hair that I usually wear in a bun and thought this would be an easy way to do it when I'm in a hurry. After numerous failed attempts, I finally just decided to return it. Since the videos I've watched on YouTube and the TV commercials make it look easy, there are obviously people for whom this will be great. But if you have baby fine, rather thin hair like me, I don't think you'll be happy with it.
