Just recently received my ironwood 650. First time ever smoked a rack of beef ribs and they turned out perfect! Today will smoke a meatloaf. Very pleased with the ironwood!

Terrible engineering

I bought my Ironwood 650 from my local platinum dealer. Great experience. I went through all my setup successfully and everything was cooking. Two weeks later the Wi-fi would not connect to my Google mesh network. I have 23 connections to the network and they have all worked flawlessly once set up. Some inexpensive plugs and some high-end appliances 90% of them 2.4. So no sweat i will just reconnect. Well no joy. deleting everything both on the Traeger and my iPhone, resetting the Traeger, standing close to the grill to down the street close to the end of the router range (appox one-half block) all to no avail. Wi-fi connections are not rocket science and is well established as reflected in the ease of setting up my other devices. ...

    The smoker works so well. The app really makes it easy to control the smoker when you're not close by. Nice even smoke on ribs with a well defined smoke line. So much better than an electric smoker I use to have.

    Had the ironwood 650 for about 3 weeks now. Extremely happy with this purchase! Everything tastes better. It makes grilling so easy. I thought it would take longer to heat up but It seems like it takes the same amount of time as our old weber gas grill. Also nothing burns, food cooks evenly. Hamburgers have definitely reached a new level, They don't shrivel up and look like meatballs like my gas grill used to do. Vegetables on the grill taste amazing! I would definitely recommend this grill. Phenomenal!!! The ironwood 650 takes grilling to the next level!

    Awesome Unit!

    I'm new to the smoker game so I asked around and was led to the Ironwood 650. This unit is extremely well built and the assembly was easy. So far I am really impressed with the ease of operation and Im having a blast learning tricks of the trade through the Traeger community. I have only done a couple smokes so far but it is awesome. I will enjoy this for years to come.

    Father of 2 Small Kids Approved

    My previous smoker was a charcoal smoker which served its purpose. However, as a father of 2 little ones, the ability to “set and forget” and monitor the cook while completing other tasks was something I couldn't pass up. The quality of smoke and performance surpassed all expectations. From cooking brisket to steaks, the Ironwood does it all. If you're thinking of making the transition to a Traeger, you won't be disappointed.
