I bought this phone with the finance deal on a Walmart credit card. I didn't have one, so it took about a week for the card to come. By that time they didn't have any white phones at the store so I had to make a "site to store" purchase. I didn't realize at the time that the coupon for the special financing was an "in store" promotion. Luckily the two female store associates that I dealt with took care of me and converted my purchase from "site to store" to "in store" so I could take advantage of the financing. I really appreciated that since the special financing was a major factor in my decision to buy this phone from Walmart.
Now, to the phone. I purchased an iPad last year so I was already familiar with how everything operates. The packaging is top notch. A rarity these days. As usual I had problems setting up my phone but Straight Talk took care of me in about 1/2 an hour.
The phone itself is narrower and feels more delicate than I would like, but that is easily remedied by purchasing a case for it. I've only made a few calls, but so far it's fine. Mostly I wanted it so I could get setup on my work e-mail server to retrieve my calendar when I am out and about. It also gives me my work and personal e-mails which can come in handy. It wasn't too difficult to set up which was always troublesome with my previous phone.
I'm not too impressed with the speed as it is 3G so it takes a while to load some of the data, especially images. Still, it's a huge improvement over my Nokia. Overall it is as expected. It's the phone that everyone else wants to be. It is an original. It's an iPhone...what more can I say?
