TracFone LG Rebel 4G LTE GSM Prepaid Smartphone

I bought this phone for my wife as an upgrade to 4g from 3g. The 4g and new android lollipop has significantly improved her on line surfing and video streaming. The battery life is about 9 hours of continuous use and significantly longer in standby. The touch screen works great as well. For the money this phone is hard to beat! I am very pleased with this phone as is my wife. We highly recommend it.

This phone fits the bill for what we needed. My MIL needed a phone that had a good camera so she could take pics and send them via message or email once in a while. She's not going to load 20 apps and be posting to whatever all day long. And she'll make an occasional call. Although it would also support that behavior as well. The price was right and the service fits her budget so it was a good choice for her.

Easy to learn and use. Tracfone has a wonderful interactive tutorial that shows beginners the exact steps to using the features of their phone. Phone is good quality. The only thing I would improve is the small keyboard. I have small hands but it is difficult to press the correct letters. I learned to use the side of my finger . I also bought a stylus for long messages..

I received this phone to replace a tracfone that had a hardware problem. I have used tracfone for several years and like the ability to have a smartphone without the huge prices paid for phone and especially the service. This rebel is a nice phone with a lot of features including google voice search and voice command which will let you call someone with your voice. I have also used a micro sd card with this for extra storage for music and photos, but I have installed several apps on my internal storage and I have not run out of storage yet. I do not do gaming or things that would involve a lot of memory so it is good for me. I get good reception because this is a gsm phone. I would recommend that people check with others who get good reception in your area to see what carrier works best and then get the type of phone that works best for you. GSM works best for me because it works with A T & T and CDMA works best with Verizon. That is the way I understand it. I didn't need a lot of data because I use my wifi for the phone when I am home for browsing and that is where I use it most.

Small, light weight, bright screen, sharp screen, solidly built, fast enough with it's quad-core processor and with a battery that can last two days on standby if you turn off some of the power draining functions. It's features are not comparable to a $300, $500 or $700 phone, but it was a lot more than I expected from a $60 phone. Tried Tracfone's automated on-line activation but ended up having to call their 800 number to get my number ported over and phone activated. It was one of the best conducted technical support calls I've ever had and everything was fixed and working right with a single call. I would definitely recommend the phone to a friend and would definitely recommend Tracfone as a provider.
