Just bought this for my son's 1st Christmas so we would have a place for all of his new toys.
He is only 2mo old so will not be using it for some time – but I found the bins to be pretty sturdy and easy to get toys into and out of so hoping he will as well.
**One note is that if you are placing the bins on an angle, which I did, they won't hold quite as many toys and may be a tad difficult to get things into and out of since the room to maneuver is lessened by the bins above. The other option you have is to lay the bins flat on top of the support bars, but in doing that there is nothing to keep them from sliding off if bumped – that was not a good option for me.
I felt that it was easy to assemble with the exception of the large bins sticking together – so I had to work gently to loosen one corner at a time and wiggle them apart
**A prior review had mentioned their bins had cracked due to sticking together and I could see where this could easily happen if you are not careful! Take your time here!
The Espresso finish matches my cherry finish crib & changing table beautifully. Only complaint would be the lack of "Espresso" finish inside the handle holes on each side of the organizer. Those are just bare wood but it doesn't look too bad overall.
I included some pics of it with his toys (some are common so it helps to give some perspective on the bin sizes).
Overall I am very happy that I could find a good way to organize and show off his toys without compromising style and the price wasn't too bad either.
I find myself going back into his room over and over to look at it and how cute but stylish it is with all of his new toys! <:o)
