Intro: Is this a Tablet? Is this a Laptop? It's both! Specs: The model I received was the 32 GB hard drive model with 2GB RAM. It runs on Windows 8.1 OS, 64 bit. Has 2 USB ports (one of them is 3.0), HDMI out, headphone/mic jack, built in wi-fi, webcam, and memory card reader. Note, there's no CD/DVD drive built in (you can buy one aftermarket) Packaging: It was nicely packaged in a compact cardboard box with power cord, and quick start manual. Setup: When first powering it on, it will ask you to enter your Microsoft account or create one. This took about 10 minutes. You can skip this process, but you shouldn't. And this is because later on, if you want to download anything from the App store, you will require the MSN account. Usage: The laptop can be used in its standard laptop configuration. But you can also fold the screen completely back and use it as a tablet. The computer will detect the keyboard is folded and inactivate it. It did take me about couple of hours usage to get used to the idea of using the touch screen. But once you get the hang of it, it's actually pretty convenient. The tablet interface is very intuitive. I already use Xbox live and Xbox one, and the graphics and interface is very similar. There are a lot of preloaded programs including things like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Skype, etc. There's also a one month free MS office trial you can use. It comes with virus protection through Macafee. I currently have full size desk top and have an ipad. I think this does seem to bridge the gap nicely probably for 75-80% of the time. I think there will always be those that need specific functions - like heavy multimedia use or hard core gaming. This of course was not designed for that. I think if I was traveling, or a student, or just need something to do word processing, surf web, check email, skype, and play some tablet games, this would fit the role perfectly. Conclusion: This is a good laptop/tablet combination. It is very light and versatile. Comes with lots of preloaded software, and have built in wifi, and webcam. It does great with light computing and fit the role nicely. I would recommend this to a friend or family member.

Toshiba Satellite Radius Laptop / Tablet
Innovative Tool
This Laptop has all the tools that is needed to perform documents, power point, excel, photos and for surfacing the Internet and especially like the touch screen.
Good Value
I needed a small travel computer that had Microsoft Office and could open Excel etc. This works. It is not fast for gaming but that was not what I use it for.
Better then expected
It works better then I expected. The major point for me was how flexible the screen is and it is also touchscreen. The start menu has everything that I needed right at my finger tip. It's lightweight and the keys are big enough to see and touch.
Top 10 Review of Toshiba Satellite Radius 11
This is a nice, fairly light, well made 2 in 1 (should be called a 4 or 5 in 1) with a few flaws. DOCUMENTATION: There is a 159 page PDF User Guide that is the best user guide I have ever seen. It explains everything about the computer and Windows 8.1. There is also a 8 page pamphlet Quick Start Guide. BUILD: Very solid and nice looking. Weighs 2 lbs, 11 oz. Hinges allow positioning screen up to 360 degrees from the keyboard. At about 190 degrees the keyboard and touchpad turn off to allow for "Tent", "Presentation" and "Tablet" modes. Position sensors will keep the screen upright when in all positions. There are also game sensors for tilt. SCREEN: Here is where I was disappointed. According to the Toshiba Website, there are four models of this Radius 11, Only one model has a wide-viewing-angle IPS screen and this model is NOT it. The screen contrast is poor at 20-30 degrees off-angle. And the brightness is worse than two of my other computers. OPERATION: This is a entry level Windows computer and is not a gaming powerhouse. It's Passmark Rating is 620, and its CPU mark is 1136. E-mail and Web page loads are quick. SOUND: Poor. Good volume but the quality is poor - too "tinny" - very little bass. CONCLUSION: As a entry level Windows machine, I like it a lot. But the poor screen holds it back.
Great price, but a bit slow and little memory
I bought this mainly for school and works great. It is a bit slow but not much. I also wanted it to store my pics and videos from my phone, but I had to delete them because the low memory was giving me issues. However, there is a slot to put a memory card, I just wish it came with it. Besides that, everything else is great, awesome options to personalize and very light weight which was my main desire for buying it. Size is great, love that it is small but big enough for a laptop. It is slick looking and the touchscreen works great! It starts up fast too
Great for School
It works great for papers and work for college. I do wish though that it was actually gold. It is more silver than gold. Also it is hard to open it because the top is super skinny. Last i was kind of bummed that it did not have a disk player. Other than that it is good for work and that is why I bought it.
Great tablet but buy a warranty!
I purchased this for my 12yr old son for Christmas 2014 and since he is a little tough on his electronics i purchased the protection plan. Thank God because the hinge broke this March 2015. I sent it to be repaired under the warranty and was notified that it could not be repaired and was refunded the purchase price for the tablet on a Walmart gift card.
NOT ENOUGH SPACE
I would defiantly not recommend this laptop for the average laptop user. This laptop only has 20 gb of free space when you get it. This is only 4 more GB than my IPhone. The average laptop has 500 GB, do the math. This computer is also extremely slow and does not play music well. Just do not buy it.
I'm ready to return it
Ever since I received it ( late ) I have had ungoing "Critical Structure Corruption, ndis.sys problems no matter what I do to fix it. The blue error screen pops up and stops works constantly and my keystrokes are late showing up. I don't know how to fix this. I can't afford to hire someone to analyze it so have sought online help. It's a perfect size for me since I travel frequently, I like the touch screen. Hated the Winds.8 so a puter guy gave me Wind. 7 to operate it with which is great though I wonder if that is part of the problem. Folded over completely it makes a nice tablet with an effective keyboard if it's opened up.
