Great color pencils

These recycled color pencils are of high quality and blends easier without the waxy feel of other color pencils. I also like the lightly varnished wood-grain finish. It adds character to the pencils. Tombow makes these 5 packs in Jewel, Primary, Bright and Earth. I looked at all of their pictures and it is impossible to figure out the difference between Jewel, Primary and Bright. They all seem to have the same color pencils! The only set that stands out is the Earth pack which has more muted colors. It would be really great for Tombow or Walmart to show the colors of the different color pencil sets so consumers can determine which set is right for them.

Good quality colored pencils

I was not expecting these pencils to be as nice as they are. The colors are very vibrant and the point isn't easily broken. The feel of the pencils are very comfortable in hand. I also really appreciate the fact that they are made from recycled materials.

Nice Pencils

Adult coloring books and art supplies are the latest rage and you see them for sale everywhere. It is recommended for relaxation and stress relief and are just plain fun to use. These colored pencils are made from excellent quality recycled cedar and are made in Vietnam and sold by American Tombow Inc. The package say they have "fingerjoint technology" though they never really say what is. The package contains five pencils in jewel tones. The colors are very strong and brilliant. They include a royal blue, a deep green, a deep yellow that is almost a gold, a dark orange and a deep red. The colors are very vivid for colored pencils, which can sometimes be a little pale. These are not. They are made with artist quality lead and do a wonderful job when blending colors as well as layering. The pencils themselves are not painted so the cedar finish clearly shows. There is a small band of the appropriate color near the base of each pencil and there is something written, which I assume is the name of the color, but it is not in English so I am not sure. All in all they are good quality pencils at a descent price.
