Timberline Pine Mulch, 2CF

This is my third year of purchasing this product. Not at all like last year. The chunks are so big it is hard to mulch around smaller plants. Do not buy unless you try one bag before buying additional product.

We always purchase this product to make our own home-made soil for use in our vegetable beds. When mixed in a 5-1-1-1 ration of fines (5), peat moss, Perlite, lime and fertilizer (for last "1"). Makes a great value and quality soil to grow healthy plants and other plants. Quality control note to the producer: it's better if the pine mulch is produced as small as possible for this purpose. Larger fines would not be good.
