    Directions:

Instructions: Transitioning Your Cat Successfully1. Set up your new BREEZE Litter System next to your current litter box. If you dont currently use a litter box with high sides or a top, remove the BREEZE sidewall for now.2. Move some clumps and solid waste from your current box to the clean BREEZE system. This will help your cats recognize their new bathroom. Once they start using the BREEZE box, you can remove the clumps and solid waste.3. Stop cleaning the old litter box. Cats like clean, so make the new BREEZE box the most appealing option by not scooping the old box. Sounds gross, but this step is key to a successful transition.4. Toss out that old box completely once your cats have started using the BREEZE system for all of their potty needs.Animal behaviorists recommend multiple cat households have multiple litter boxes: one system per cat, plus one additional system (2 cats = 3 litter systems).Litter PelletsSimple Setup and Maintenance.1. Fill the top portion of the BREEZE Litter System with one 3.5 lb. package of litter pellets.2. Scoop out solid waste and dispose of daily. Note: Pellets do not clump.3. Add more pellets as needed. We recommend that you replace the pellets completely once a month.

I used to have two cats... nearly 20 years ago and despite the clumping litter and daily scooping and sweeping... it always smelled like cat. We go a new kitten almost 2 years ago and chose this box on the recommendation of a lady in the store buying replacement pads. The poop is so easy to scoop... I just take a ziploc inside out and pick it up, zip up the bag and into the trash. I change the pad on Sunday and since she only pees in one corner, I turn the pad tray around on Wednesday. This way we use the whole pad. I do spray an odor eliminator on the "used" side when turning the pad to keep the smell away. The pellets don't spread around the house and there is no smell. If there is a smell after scooping the poop, I know it is time to change to pellets. Usually 30 days. So much nicer than the usual litter. I don't think the cost is that much different then the other litter brands and any cost difference is worth not having litter all over my carpet and no smell.

I bought the Breeze system due to the fact that for some odd reason my cat's urine would not stay clumped anymore; no matter how long it sat. I tried several different clumping brands, but it just didn't seem to matter, her urine clump would just instantly disintegrate as soon as I would scoop and sift. Her vet didn't know why either. She's perfectly healthy with no UT issues. It took my girl a good week or so to realize this was her new box (she's kinda timid). Once she started using it, and I saw how well it works, I knew I made the right choice in switching. I totally love it, and she seems to as well. I'd say it's perfect for one or two cats. It does seem a little dimensionally smaller than the traditional box, and it's definitely not as deep; but it doesn't need to be. I also love the fact that litter is no longer getting tracked to all ends of the house. I'd absolutely recommend the Breeze litter system.

I just started using the Breeze a week ago. I took my cats in, one at a time to show them their new litter boxes. They each immediately dug a little hole then squatted down to tinkle. I have one cat that is the same size she was at 9 months old so she is small. The next one is the same age at 5 and she is a bit bigger and she was fine with this litter box. My 3rd cat is mostly or pure bred Maine Coon and he didn't have problems with the litter box. He is 3 and still growing. He is about 3 inches shorter than a beagle and weighs around 17 or so lbs. He uses the litter box more than the other 2 combines because he doesn't go outside as much. If you know the size a Maine Coon gets to, then you know that my Jr had no problems getting in or out of the Breeze. I honestly believe the so called transition period depends on your cat. Mine did fine so I immediately took their old litter boxes and tossed them. The first 2 go out a lot so they will go to the door to go out to potty but if the weather is bad, they will use a litter box. I highly recommend this litter box to anyone who is tired of the constant scooping.

This is my second round with the Breeze box first purchased for my 2.5lb Persian kitten. She had no trouble burying her #2 and was able to jump in and out of the box easily. With my 2nd kitty also Persian and a little over 5lbs, she also has no problems and has never missed going outside of her box. Both kitty's trained instantly with no problems. Visitors to my home cannot tell I have the litter box in the room because there is absolutely NO odor like you would have with a typical litter box. I like the fact that the pellets stay in the box, where other litter does not. And if a few small pellets do come out, I know that my kitty will not be hurt by the pellet if accidentally ingested. As you can determine from my lengthy response, I am the biggest fan of the Tidy Cats Breeze Box and recommend this system to everyone with a feline. Simply THE BEST! Thank you, Tidy Cats!

My cats use the Breeze system; they took to it right away, so we could get rid of the old litter boxes after a week of having the two side by side. I have several cats, and one Breeze system less than the number of cats I have. I find that if I scoop the poop every day (not a difficult undertaking), the bowel odor is quite manageable. The pads work great as long as I shift the position of the boxes (if I leave the boxes in the same position, one pad gets soaked through and the other pads ... well, don't) twice per week. The clean-up process is SO MUCH EASIER than is the clean-up process for traditional litter that the mild inconveniences are outweighed by a long shot. However, the other reviewers are correct; the box needs to be bigger. While most of my cats have no trouble, my biggest (25 lb) cat doesn't fit and poops on the floor next to the box. He wouldn't do that if he fit in the box ... so it's not his fault. Make a box twice the current size as an option and you'll have the Perfect Product.

    • A. You should have a box for each cat plus one. With that combo, the 3.5 lbs. bag lasts me a month.

    • A. I have five cats and four of these type litter boxes and love them. Have only ever used the 3.5 bags of litter and only add it about l bog twice a month. The pads I change weekly. I'll always use this.

    • A. I have 2 cats, and I initially used 2 bags (2 x 1.3lb) because 1 bag is just too scanty to line the litter box. If you tend to remove a lot of the pellets with the cat poop like I do, then you might need to supplement this with another 1/2 - 1 bag every month. If you clean the whole litter box every month, then you can reuse the remaining pellets by washing in soapy bleached water. I haven't felt the need to changed the litter box in 2 months, I just add more pellets and spray the pellets with bleach water 3 or 4 times a week to prevent any lingering odors and clean the sides with bleach water. Believe it or not, the litter box doesn't smell at all. I do tend to pick up a lot of extra pellet with the cat droppings because I don't like the poop touching the plastic shovel (because then I have to wash it). It's also flushable. All this for 2 big cats (one of my cats poops 4 times a day - ugh!!) Not having to clean the whole litter box (something I've been living with for 14 yrs) is such a luxury. And the pads cancel out any urine or ammonia smell. The urine that collects at the bottom is practically odorless.

    • A. I have 2 cats and change the pellets once a month. Five cats you would probably do it every 2 weeks and change the pad every day or 2. To me it would be worth it as it is so clean.
