I like this ThermoPro thermometer because it is instant reading, (almost 3-4 seconds) Good quality. Washes easily, auto-rotating display, has magnetic back, (which I love, it doesn't get lost in the utensil crock) very handy you can recalibrate if need be. One-year warranty and if you register it, you get 3 years!

This thermometer is absolutely great, anytime I grill meat I've been using it. I really hate eyeballing chicken because of salmonella, so I bought this for chicken but I started using it all the time. The screen is easy to see, you can turn on or off the backlight, if you flip it over it gives you the temp that meat is fully cooked through, and it's a good price!
