Power supply does the job for the price

I purchased this power supply to upgrade a Dell computer for gaming. The power supply is on the low end of the requirements so isn't for the serious gamer who may be overclocking their hardware or adding lots of hard drives or multiple graphics cards. It is sufficient to run a typical Dell home desktop and one graphics card. It so far has performed flawless and runs cool. The big 120 mm fan is quite but then again I can't hear much above the CPU fan which is very noisy when the computer is working hard. The number of power connectors is more than sufficient for my needs with a single graphics card. The only down side is the length of the wires is made for a larger tower case(ATX or larger). This means I had to be clever and stuff the excess into the slot where the second optical drive would be if I had one. Not sure if this would work in a computer with all of its drive bays full. System specs: Dell Inspiron 530 Intel Core 2 Duo E4600, 4 GB RAM Micro-ATX form factor motherboard (Foxconn G33M-S) ASUS GTX460 graphics card

Great price!

My computer had recently died because of the failed power supply and its warranty was only for three years. It died the month after it ended, ugh. I had to look for a new one as soon as possible and I came across this one. It's quiet and working well so far but only time will tell, then again it has an amazing five year warranty! Also, the super fast shipment surprised me. Walmart saved the day once again :)

Good PSU - No Fan Speed Control though

Good PSU, seems reliable, large 120mm fan for reasonably silent operation. It does run hot though. The worst thing is there is no fan control for motherboards that support controlling (or at least monitoring) the speed of external fans.
using on an dh67cf motherboard with i7-2600s and amd 8650 iceQ in a quite house you can here a pin drop before you even notice the pc running.. Great power supply vary quite, and cool running temps

Great PSU!

This power supply runs great! I've had it about 5 days and have had no problems whatsoever. Really good bang for the buck in my opinion.
