I always liked: The Thing, ☆☆☆☆☆ for all versions. All versions made the audience believe it was based on a factual expedition. This 3 Film collection is way beyond what you see on the Cut to Bits TV-PG versions. It is definitely worthwhile for any fan of the film or student of Old Skool special effects. Especially notable is the Extra Features, such as: Storyboards, Art, and Narration by John Carpenter with Kurt Russel. I'd definitely recommend this collection to any serious Sci-Fi or Special Effects enthusiasts.
