I am a fan of Pioneer Woman design due to their combo of quality, price, vintage design and very creative mix of things from sheet sets, home décor to kitchen goods. This cookware has everything a kitchen for a small family of four like ours would need. All the pots and pans are nonstick and seem durable. The three pots come in various sizes, all with clear lids with steam vent and heat proof handles. They are perfect for stews, soup, sauces from scratch. The fry pan and skillet do not come with the lids which I love because I don't ever use the lids when doing stir fry or making eggs, and without the lids on the skillet, I can easily organize them in my kitchen cabinet. The wood turner and spoon are smoothly finished compared to the ones that are sold individually by other brands. The ceramic measuring bowls and spoons are meticulously crafted, measuring from ¼ tsp to 1 cup, perfect for baking with my daughter. My most favorite part of the set is the cast iron skillet and the two silicon sleeves that fit perfectly to the skillet. It makes it so convenient and easy to prepare on the stove top, put directly into an oven and easily take out and nicely present for serving. Together with the two mini au gratins, we can make one main dish and two little ones for the kids (their favorite is cheesy potato gratin stacks). As a plus, this entire set is super easy to clean, all cookware pieces are dishwasher safe. Both the red and turquoise color sets are pretty but we have a few other Pioneer Woman kitchen pieces in turquoise and they really stand out on our white counter-top and cabinets. I am writing this review as part of a contest.
