Very nice!! Buttons very well marked. Easy directions. Great recipe book. I didn't get the small kitchen gloves to pull out inner, but all the other accessories were there.

I love it!
I am so excited to finally get an instant pot!!!And this one is lovely. This is an older model with MANUAL button. That's really what I wanted. It arrived in tack, packaged well and no dents Haven't used it yet because I'm still just looking at it. lol All I can say is that it is just beautiful! Course if it doesn't work I'll return it but gosh it's just lovely to look at.
Well worth the money!
This is a good size appliance for a family of four and comes with easy to understand instructions along with a mini cook book but it also gives you the URL for where to get more recipes. It does not come with a lot of attachments you can use with this InstantPot, it only adds the glass lid to use as slow cooker and the attachment to use it as a steamer but not an actual steamer basket or pot which you can purchase extra. It also has a small plastic ladle for soups and a plastic rice scoop along with a tiny measuring cup thats plastic as well. I highly recommend to read all instructions for this appliance before you use it. Its easy to clean up after using it and does everything it says in the description. Now I need to purchase some of the optional attachments so I can get rid of some of my other appliances and use just one.
Fast, easy, delicious foods!!
I LOVE this Instapot. Not only is it beautiful to look at its functional. Ive had this for a few months now to use and it has become my favorte way of cooking. Its easy to use; the preset buttons are helpful as well. There was no “set up” other than taking it out kf box and washing inner pot. If you are new to instapots i would recommend you take the leap. This basically does the cooking for you. I will say though you CAN NOT dump and walk away. This doesnt automatically turn off when your item (set in manual mode) is finished. The warmer/cooking olate stay on. Other than that this baby is PERFECT.
Great for everything.
I bought this from walmart a year ago and wanted to test this completely before I reviewed. This product is wonderful. It works for stews, meatballs, and even desserts. My favorite is making brownies in it. Who could think you can make desserts in an instant pot? The buttons are still good and easy to read. With proper care, this product will last! The design is beautiful. This product is worth the spurge.
Beautiful, but tiny scratches on the pot.
Not sure if this was previously used or not and resold to me, but the pot has some tiny scratches inside it. Now, I am super excited to own this as it was on sale so I will just wash it since you're supposed to anyways. The rest of this beautiful appliance is flawless. I will update how it cooks dinner tonight. To be continued:
Skeptical of inner pot's quality of materials
I read through all the instruction booklets. A close read--there are no specific instructions on how to close the lid properly. By trial and error, I figured it out AFTER it worked with lid on incorrectly. (When on correctly, the steam valve opposite the control panel). I did the 2 minute 'start up' procedure after carefully washing the interior of the pot with soap and water. Upon opening the pot after this test run, I was disgusted to see the inside rim of the pot with an accumulation of fuzzy looking 'gunk' in the water. I wish I took a picture of it. The accompanying picture is the dish towel I wiped it out with--the gunk is the black spots on the towel. Additionally, the bottom of the pot 'pitted' with white spots that I am unable to remove. After making hard boiled eggs with it, there was even more pitting in the pot--shown in pictures-there is a lot of glare but the white spots you see are permanent. Two uses--only one actually using it for it's intended purpose (with NO food actually touching the pot--only water each time) and the interior does not give me comfort that it is not made of defective (possibly leaching?) materials. Why would it pit like it has? No matter how I clean it, it doesn't look clean. Not good. I will say that it did make hard boiled eggs far easier than the usual sauce pan/boil method.....and they peeled incredibly easily. I'm giving it 3 stars for the combined ease of cooking and pitted pot interior.
