    Do not buy

I received this for my birthday, as I have been looking at it for literal months and I am sorely disappointed. It has begun to rust after less than a week of regular use. My husband and I no longer feel safe using it, we are thinking that perhaps it is just so pretty that they should sell it as art, because it isn't functional as anything else.

    Beautiful, unique tea kettle

I bought this for my soon to be daughter in law and it was her favorite gift!!! She loves it! It's beautiful. Even the man at the site to store pick up said he didn't need a tea kettle, but seeing it made him want to buy one.

This teapot is beautiful, however, this morning, I was pouring boiling water and the lid popped off splashing water and steam all over me. Now I have 2nd degree steam burns on my hand. It leaks steam normally but the lid popping off was the last straw. This teapot needs some serious engineering overhauls. Good thing walmart also sells dermablast and gauze

    Not worth it

I had a bad experience for this Tea Kettle, it looks nice but it has different flaws. The first one that I got, was leaking from the metal portion attached to the tea kettle. So I decided to give it another try and exchanged it for another one. The second was serving the hot water for the tea perfectly, however, we notice some white/black residuals. Initially we thought it was something in the water, but the second time we tried we make sure the water was pure and no extra items were in there. When serving the hot water we noticed that the water was a bit dark. So with a white paper towel, we cleaned the cover. And it was coming as if was dirty. (We had washed a few times) . So the conclusion was that when the water was boiling it was discoloring the inside color of the top part. And the sides within the top part were coming as if it was rusty. We end up returning the tea kettle after that. i do thank the customer service at Walmart, since they didn't hesitate on helping me at all times.

    For looks only

I got this tea kettle as a gift and thought it was beautiful. However it has several flaws and after today I'm done with it. In the first week of use, I noticed the inside bottom was rusted. I cleaned it out pretty good and was able to get it all off. I'll use a tea kettle for years before needing to replace it, and I've never experienced this before. The final straw was today. Because it has a large spout it doesn't whistle. This has a lot of water escaping as steam very quickly. When I went to pour there wasn't enough water to fill my tea cup, so I tilted it to get all the water. (Not much of a tilt was needed) There is no lip on the lid, so it fell off and all the steam escaped and burned my hand pretty badly. This thing is full of design flaws. I'm throwing it out after only 2 months of use, and will be buying a better brand. Apparently the pioneer woman brand is for looks only.
