It arrived faster than expected and came in great condition. The cart is exactly as shown; the wood is beautiful, it's heavier than I expected and it's very well made. I have a small kitchen, so I actually have it up against a wall and can only access the drawers from one side, but the fact that you can access the drawers from either side is a great idea if you have the room for it. What I love about it is that I can put my microwave on the top shelf so that it no longer has to sit on the countertop. I'm extremely happy with it!

I am so Happy with this purchase!! It is absolutely beautiful. Very nice quality and matches my kitchen cabinets perfectly. I have displayed my beautiful dishes on the racks so they are not hiding in my cabinets. I just love, love, love it. It was a packaged very well, so there was absolutely no damage. Assembly was very easy and shipping was lighting fast!!!!
Great island for a small kitchen
This is a fabulous item with charming appointments. It took me a few hours to assemble it, but it was well worth the labor. Be sure to put the top on a soft cloth as they suggest in the instructions to prevent scratching. When finished, it looks great and I have had many compliments on it. If you like the looks of it online, you will love it in person.
An excellent addition to my kitchen
My kitchen island/cart arrived ahead of schedule and my hubby and I had it together in less than an hour (btw, when instructions say to tighten bolts only halfway, do that. We tightened some and had to loosen them again to install others). It's sturdy, heavy, attractive, and I like being able to easily move it around as needed. I put my flatware in 1 drawer and all of my spices in the other, big skillets and crock pot on bottom shelf. First major use was as a buffet table for a big family dinner. It's a great feature between my fridge and stove, which are on opposite sides of the room. Love it, love it, LOVE IT! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Best Kitchen Island
This is the most beautiful kitchen island I have owned. The quality for the price is unsurpassed. The wheels lock in place with eased. I would definitely purchase it again even at a higher price. The depth is perfect for a galley-style kitchen and the length gives any additional space you might lose in the depth.
"I loved this cart"
I ordered this cart to hopefully use as an island in my small kitchen. It arrived Just as promised. This cart is beautiful and easy to put together ( so my husband says). The only problem was my kitchen was way too small to accomadate it, even though I read and tried to duplicate the measurements in my kitchen before ordering. Sorry to say we had to try to duplicate the great packing and send back. Bye, bye beautiful cart.
Great piece for the price
I bought this as an island for my small kitchen. It was the perfect size. It arrived earlier than I expected and in great condition. I did put it together myself (I am a 50 year old woman) in about an hour. I did struggle a bit as the wood top is heavy, so it would have been extremely easy with 2 people. I did not put the wheels on as I liked it without them. I love it and the price was terrific! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Sturdy and attractive
This side cart is really quite nicely constructed. It is sturdy, aesthetically pleasing and easy to assemble. Very good purchase and customer service.
would definitely recommend
Bought this to add extra counter space for food prep when needed. I love the casters. I can move it close to electric socket if I need to plug in appliances. Family loves it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Pretty and Useful
I am really loving this cart. We are using it as extra counter space in our kitchen and it performs admirably. It had some small cosmetic defects out of the box (1 corner very scratched/scuffed, the other mildly so) but we just put those towards the back and it works fine. It's not as stable as it would be with 4 locking wheels (it shakes a little bit with vigorous sawing motions, for example), but it's pretty solid construction. Pros: -The lacquered counter top is extremely easy to clean. -The casters come well-oiled and sturdy, no squeaking or trouble moving it. -It is completely bi-directional: the drawers are the same on both sides, and the shelves are very open and accessible. -It's solid and sturdy: heavy enough that it won't run away on you, but light enough to move easily on its wheels. -Beautiful wood top and chrome legs mean that it will accentuate nearly any space you put it in. -The shelves and drawers are capacious and accessible. -The height is a good one for standing at. I am short and one of my housemates is very tall, and this cart strikes a good balance so that it is usable by both of us. -If you choose not to attach the sidebars (as I did) the holes where they should go are not obvious, and are overhung by both the counter and the legs. Cons: -Out of the box, it is HEAVY. I definitely recommend having a friend over to hold the pieces while you allen wrench them in. -The two bolts that hold the top of the legs on have to be screwed in by reaching into the drawer space, which is narrow and would be hard to get to if you have difficulties crouching/sitting on the floor. -The bars of the shelves are spaced a little farther apart than I would have liked. Putting cans, books, or other smaller items on it is not advisable. I will be getting some plastic shelf liners to solve this problem, which I will have to cut, because this company does not offer them as an option. -It comes with all of the hardware you need to put it together, except a screwdriver. It wasn't a problem for me, but I thought it was an odd omission, particularly since they did include a tiny allen wrench and a small hex wrench that I didn't use at all. (The hex wrench is used to tighten the casters, but they are much easier to screw in by hand. You just have to make sure you hold on to the base, not the wheel, because the wheel pivots.)
