This is one of the most intriguing games you can find. There is no ultimate winner. Each hand plays out until there is a Great Dalmuti and all the other players are left in lesser positions down to the Lesser Peon. It is extremely fun but for me it took playing it for a dozen times or so before I got the hang of it. The best result is to have 5 or 6 players; fewer players would make it less interesting in my opinion.

Really great game for half a dozen people
A great game to play with several people.
This is a fun game for sure. It appears confusing at first but once you understand it, it is a walk in the park. The cards are very interesting in themselves and the game is fun to play with family. By far my favorite card game as of yet.
Fun for groups
We love this game.
Great family game!
It may take a little time to get used to the unusual cards and the clever rules, but our family loves this game. It goes quickly--unlike board games, so the learning curve doesn't take much time. If you have children with small hands, you may want to take out the 12's and 11's, so that their hand isn't so big. Our youngest (9) goes off to sort her hand and comes back to the table. Even though her strategy is sketchy, she often wins! Go figure!
This game is a lot of fun. We enjoy playing with it with our friends.
Works well with lots of people.
