Noor Nobi is a broken man, wandering the streets of Calcutta with no reason to live. His three children, snatched from him in a cruel accident, were everything he worked for and loved. Noor Nobi is devastate...

Noor Nobi is devastated when an accident takes away his family. For a long time, he hardly functions in his work as a tailor. Then, one day, he sees a caged bird and reflects on how quickly life can change. He makes it his mission to buy and release caged birds. This is a true story. The illustrations are magnificent. This is a picture book just begging to be used with students. Character traits: Making a difference
