I debated whether to buy the adjustable lounge or the cheaper one that doesn't adjust. I got this one and I'm so glad. It's the best. So comfortable and good looking.

This is the second set of super soft adjustable loungers I have purchased. The first time I purchased them was about 8 years ago. I purchased two more because my kids have grown and we needed two more for when they come to visit . My son in law is 6'7" tall and weighs 276 lbs and he has no problem relaxing in this lounger. Right now we own 4 loungers and are very happy with them, even the older ones are still in great shape and completely useable. I would highly recommed this adjustable lounger to everyone that owns a pool. My husband and I use them everyday and love the fact that we can either sit up or lay completely down or any where in between and float around our pool. And I did forget to mention the cup holders. And last but not least easy storing for the winter because they fold down and have a grommet in the back so you can hang them up. All in all if I had to I would defiantly buy this lounger again . Very satisfied with this lounger. Diane
I am a seasoned "sun-noisseur"...and this is hands down the best, most comfortable chair or float that I've ever used. I literally just spent three days over Memorial Day weekend in my pool...in this chair! Sturdy, comfortable, adjustable...totally "the life." It's nearly perfect...the cupholders are adequate, but if they were twice as deep, this thing would be absolutly perfect in my book. I have been wanting to purchase these for years, but just now got around to it. Should have done it earlier.
This float is well built but on the pricey side. They did say it was super soft and I was very amazed how soft it really is. It is perfect if you have a pool liner. I love the fact that it is so adjustable. You can have it fully reclined or in a more seated position and anything in between. We have an above ground pool and I didn't want anything to bulky or something that needed to be inflated and the size of this lounge is just perfect. Makes it easy for storing too. In all I think this is a really nice float for lounging around the pool. If it wasn't so expensive I would have considered buying two.
This is my third adjustable lounge that I have purchased in Coral. I really like the adjustable feature and also really like the comfort of this pool lounge chair. I previously owned the same type and had them for approximately 7-8 years. My previous lounge chairs did end up splitting and rusting after several years due to the steel frame in the padded foam. The only thing I wish was different was that they need to be a bit longer for those that are tall. The old style I had was about 6 inches longer than this model. All in all, I own 3 new lounges in Coral and really enjoy them for myself and any company that is in the pool. The lounges are the most comfortable that I have found. My husband and I bought this floaty for when my mother visits. She loves it! A little tough to balance on, but very comfy and durable feeling. I paid for the expedited shipping, however I got it four days later than the anticipated delivery date. Which was a little disappointing. Other than that, very pleasant transaction.
For the most part, this is a good float, but I am a bit sorry that I paid extra for it's adjustability. The mechanism that locks the setting seems flimsy and I doubt it will last long. They have to be screwed extremely tight in order to stay in place once you lean against the seat back. Therefore they are impossible to adjust while in the water and I question whether they will last a year, or even a season, before they are stripped and broken.
I had initially ordered this as a Mother's Day gift. The The gears on the adjustable back arrived chewed up in 2 areas on the right adjustment. There was also a patch of missing foam (inverted bubble) by the right adjustment knob. This was returned for a refund. I took a chance and re-ordered as my wife really liked this item. The second chair still had some noticeable damage to the right adjustment gear, (although not as bad as the first chair). The inverted foam bubble was still present near the Right adjustment knob. I am fairly confident Hayneedle was aware of the consistent defects as there was a $100 price drop on the chair between orders (1WEEK). There was not any consumer warning of possible damaged goods. The overall feel of the chair is nice, but due to the damage on the gear, we have decided to leave it locked into one position (Which completely defeats the purpose of an adjustable function) so as to get a least a year's use out it.
The concept of the chair is nice but there are issues such as: 1) the cup-holders are VERY shallow and when you are reclining the chair slants backwards leaving your drink to fall; 2) the chair is not steady even when floating...if you move your body the chair has bad balance and will result in you falling in; 3) the two adjustable plastic knobs are not reliable and I can see they have the potential to wear or not hold in place. The design of this gives you no indication if you are adjusting the back equally, it should maybe have a marker or number system on the knobs.
