I have a Flip Cam and it attached on no problem. It is sturdy and I will be using this as a tripod on a table for recording out speakers. It isnt made cheaply and I like the fact you can rotate it very easy and lock into place too. Great deal for $14 and also beats some of them mini ones that would fall over that are barely the size of the cameras. I didnt need a huge floor model, this will do the work!

I thought this was a great tripod for the $15 I paid for it. I bought a Playsport camera and Kodak in all their infinite wisdom designed it so you can not set it down for recording so I needed something to screw it to so I could stand it up and make vidieos. This tripod was just the ticket. Holds the camera up just over 10 inches off the floor or table when colapsed, about 42 inches when fully extended. It is very lightweight (I weighed it, 14oz.) so it's flimsey and I would not use it in high winds but at home on the table or floor its fine. Pans up-down, left-right and will turn sideways. Panning is good but as flimsey (again I use this word) as they come. The legs have 8 sections and they come out a section at a time, so you can not adjust the legs other then a section at a time. You will net to put stuff under the legs to make it level on uneven footing. It's a great buy for a low cost lightweight camera, I use it for my point-and-shoot camera also, works good, easy to carry but flimsey (Wow, a third time) you will need to work with it a little.

I know it isn't perfect, but I love this little tripod. True, I wish it were always level, but I can put a little shim or something under a leg to make it work. If you want to make it more stable, hang a little weight from it (like a small bottle of water). For the price and portability I haven't found anything better.

I just bought the handycam for a project and I needed a tripod that would fit in my hunting stand so I could film while shooting. This product is great for it size it does become a little flimsy if the legs are extended all the way out but your not touching it anyways so it doesnt matter. I've read reviews for this product and people say the legs lock and wont go back in, well if you read the instructions it helps because your able to lock the legs in place....overall exactly what I wanted and perfect for hunting.

When it's all the way extended, this tripod is VERY unstable. Best to use as a table top tripod.

this is a very useful and small tripod you can get in 42" high, but maybe just for digital cameras, if you try a camcorder it depends on how heavy it is because it could be not too steady for a heavy device.

This tripod worked wonderfully at first. I was happy with the performance and with the price. I have now had the tripod for 2 weeks. Now the legs get stuck every time I try to put the legs back in. The leg is now permanently extended and will not move when I try to adjust it.

I bought this product to take with me when I go hunting, fits right in my fanny pack, and I don't even know it is with me. I always have to wait, or get back to camp so someone could take pictuers, now I can take my own pictures.

Great Little Tripod - Awesome for Travelers

I love this little tripod... it's awesome for taking on trips when you have the occasional need for a tripod. Easily fits in a backpack or pockets in cargo shorts. Also very simple to use, but need to be cautious if using in windy conditions (it is extremely lightweight). The only downfall to taking this on trips is that it gets flagged almost every time when going through TSA at the airport (which can be easily overcome by placing it in the bin when going through security instead of leaving it buried in your bag). Convenient, fast set-up and take-down, compact.
