Great TV at a great price

This is my 2nd TCL. I bought a refurbished 32" for my bedroom a few months ago and I loved it so much I bought the 48" for my living room. The built-in Roku is extremely convenient. This TV is easy to setup, the picture is amazing, and it works great. I've already recommended it to a few people. If you're thinking about buying a new smart tv, you can't go wrong with a TCL. The value is incredible.

    So Easy to Use

While I've previously owned a different brand smart LED HDTV that had a better overall picture quality than this Roku Smart TV, the functionality of this Roku TV is wonderful and the Roku's picture quality is more than acceptable. I absolutely LOVE that I can access all my entertainment options on the main screen with ONE remote control - and that remote is simple to use, without all the superfluous and confusing buttons. Installation and set up was easy, and I was able to upgrade to a bigger size for less than what I paid for my previous (non-smart) HDTV. I cannot comment to its durability as I've not owned it but a few weeks now, but I am confident that it will last - and I did purchase the extra care plan - which according to my research - is honored and easy to use if there should be any problems. All in all I would recommend this Roku TV and am very happy with this purchase.

    TCL 48FS3750 48" 1080p 120Hz Roku Smart LED HDTV

So far i am real happy with my TCL tv. I had ordered the 55 inch version for my mom for Christmas and was impressed with hers i had my eye out for any good deals on this brand since and sure enough Walmart had mine on sale for 360. The only thing i can say is a minus on this tv is the darks are not dark enough and you only notice this when a scene is really dark or say someone is wearing black you can sorta see a little grey within the dark/black area. other than this 95 percent of the time the picture is as good as any HD tv ive had except maybe a higher end Vizio (which went bad on me in less than 2 years) so i decided after 2 of my 4 previous HD tvs had not lasted me a fair amount that i would never spend more than 400 on a tv again until i see one last for at least 4 years. Lets hope this one makes it. so in a nutshell i would recommend this as well as the Hinsense if the price is 350ish to 400. if you can a year these tvs should prob drop 100 i would think.

    TCL Roku TV

About 5 days ago I received my TCL Roku TV and I love it, I just wished I would have known about them last year. From now on all the televisions I buy will be Roku.

    TCL Roku TV 48FS3750

Great TV! Pros: Picture Quality Sound Side Viewing Colors Remain Clear & Bright Roku Excellent Value Streaming Quality Cons: None Overall, very good value. I tried the Samsung KU6300 (4K) TV first and this TCL Roku TV had better sound, better side viewing, better smart features at half the price.

    Functional entertainment

Needed to replace TV and wasn't looking to get a 4K or curved TV ($1,000+) at the moment. We rely on HD antenna & streaming services only and we only watch about 10-12 hours a week so this works great for us. I did go ahead and splurge on the multi-directional mount and love that for when I'm in different parts of the house I can stream YouTube for a recipe or instructions and swivel it the other way near my home gym for workout programming. I usually don't bite on the insurance for my tech, especially under 1K, but with this manufacturer TCL it's really a gamble so the $50 instant savings I got I justified it on the Sam's 4 year protection plan which kicks in after the manufactures 1 year warranty... Picture qaulity is good enough for me. It's definitely not a Samsung, LG, Sony, or other high end with rich blacks and bright LED colors but that's not what I was looking for or expecting. Just need some moving shapes and I have a Kipsch 10-b soundbar for all my sound needs.

    Great TV

Ordered the tv from Walmart and had the tv delivered for pick up, took only 3 days to arrive. Set up was a snap and the built in Roku made connecting to my wifi, the internet, and down loading the time warner app a breeze. So now I can place the tv anywhere in my home and not have to worry about running a cable or needing a tv box for accessing my cable subscription, perfect. Netflix app is easy to use as is customizing the home screen. The Roku remote controls the tv sound and its great to have one small remote that does everything. Th Roku app for my iPad and iPhone make searching easier then using the remote. Picture quality is outstanding and the volume and speaker sound quality work just fine out of the box for me. If I buy another tv it's going to be a TCL with Roku.

    OK depends on use

The TV looks good and no problems in the first week. Deal breaker for me is the remote and how the TV turns on. My Directv remote won't program the TV so we have to use two remotes which is a deal breaker for me. Also when the TV turns on you have to pick the input you want every time. I would just like my HDMI to be the default. Also the TV is Thick. about 4.5in. Also the remote has no numbers on it. wasted money have to buy another replacement and use this TV somewhere that doesn't get used much. I am in the Satellite industry and see tons of TV in customers home. I have NEVER seen a TV turn on like this.
    Hello,

We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with some of the features of the TV. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the service providers (Direct TV/Dish etc..) and it is up to them to provide the codes to be used with our TVs. You can also download the free Roku app to your smart phone and tablet to control the TV as well. Again, we apologize for this and are working hard with these providers to ensure that they create codes for all devices to be used with our TVs.

Also, you can set the TV to power onto a specific input Go to SETTINGS/SYSTEM/POWER and under POWER ON you can select how the TV comes on - choose from Home screen, last input used or select a specific input. TLC HDTV

I purchased this TV on line. I had never seen this brand and wasn't sure about it. But, the price was the deciding factor. It was delivered a day earlier than expected (Great). I set it up by myself, no help from my computer geek sons or Hubby! The instructions were precise and easy! I think it took all of 10 minutes. The picture is sharp and not grainy, colors are vivid, the size is perfect for my living room. I love that I only have one controller now and I can stream through my TV. I'm pleased with my purchase of this HDTV.

    Love TCL

This is my 3rd TCL in the house. I cannot say enough about them. Picture clarity/quality, features, ease of use. 5 stars and then a few extra.
