cheap %26 good is a hard combo to find... I use these to do my LOF using SuperTech Advanced Synthetic engine oil. I have long peroids of idling and find this to be the best combination to keep lifter operation quiet like a mouse and engine purring like a kitten. Between the filter and the oil I have noticed a considerable decrease in carbon buildup meaning the filter is trapping what the oil is loosening. Hard to beat that! An oil filter that strains particulates that still allows good oil pressure. You can find filters that block more crud but they will either fill up then use the bypass (not good) or they will restrict and starve oil pressure (not good). If you wanna have clean oil change the filter more often - don't kill the motor with an overkill filter...

check out numerous assay, r and d, quality of build, filtering efficiency 1st pass, everything else, etc....unbeatable filter for the $$....bottom line and last word on ALL the conspiracy theories on oil changes...IMHO and is my practice...change oil at 3k miles, and trans fluid if ya feel like you can deal with it, drain and fill every 20k mile; no flush...just drain some n refill to level...multiple vehicles w over 300k miles engine and trans...no problems using the Wally World full synthetic engine oil and trans fluids for years. Obviously meets the specs for applications...been using for years and got cars sill going over 300k...oil n filter every 3k, trans fluid drain n refills every 20k miles or less...keep them fluids clean n fresh, good chemistries, can't go wrong!!! OLD GUY LOGIC/WISDOM....an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
