I have an old house. Fixer-upper type. Filthy. And I mean filthy. Being disabled, I'm always looking for a better tool and less labor. The doorways in my house are black. Maybe a very dark brown. Hard to say. Oh the money I've spent trying all the 'best' products out there. So yesterday I'm at my wits end, go to the internet yet again, and come across this you tube video where this guy's using tire cleaner to clean his cabinets. Well that's a stretch, I thought. Then I remembered that I had some type of degreaser under the sink that's been there for years; don't even remember buying it. Now mind you, I'm ready to paint the entire inside of the house, regardless of how stupid it will look, just so that it will be clean and I don't have to worry about touching someone else's grime from fifty years ago. So here I go again, but armed with "Super Clean" this time. Well, the only thing stupid was the look on my face. I was in awe. Amazed. The disgusting 'gunk' that came off that wood... Spray it on, hold the rag under where you've sprayed, and let it sit for maybe 15-20 seconds, then wipe. I'm throwing away the rags, of course, as they are literally thick with years of filth. Be a good idea to wear gloves. Maybe even safety glasses since it's a spray. I'm online ordering more now, so I thought I'd leave a review. I did notice that in some areas I went over it too many times and it looks discolored or dull. I'll probably stain it when I'm all done. But most of it looks just fine - shiny, pretty, clean wood. try to stop at that point and not over do it. Happy cleaning!
