I've had the Sunpak 6601 TM for about a year and don't use it anymore. I do more nature stuff than anything, and when I put my camera (Canon T3) on this tripod, the weight of the camera drops the part that holds it to the tripod and my view ends up below the target, so I have to start setting it a foot or more above whatever I'm shooting and keep adjusting until it's on target and stays there, and then have to repeat every time I set up for a different shot. Also don't care for the controls for tilt and pan, preferring a style that controls movement with one control arm. I did like the retractable legs because they can be adjusted for uneven ground, and like (and still use) the monopod that came with the Sunpak. It's light, convenient, easy to use, and camera adjustment isn't as important because I can lean the entire monopod a bit forward or back to adjust for the next shot. For what I want in a tripod, this one rates a "meh."
