I LOVE this heated mattress pad!! It was very easy to get on the bed. I turn it on before I finish my bed routine (brush teeth, wash face, moisturizer, etc.), then climb into bed and it is warm and ready for me!! It feels magical, I just love it and have slept so well since putting it on the bed!

Ahhh! So comfortable and warm to sleep on!
This is a must have for cold northern Winter nights. Great to heat it up before bedtime and then turn it off when you get in the bed. Helps you fall asleep like a baby! Kind of too warm to have on all night unless you have it on the very low setting.
Electric mattress pad.
Electric heating pad. These are great for keeping warm in the winter. This is about the third one I've had in my life. I have had different brands of these and this is the best. The heat gets very warm. My husbands always cold and he can only put this on the 3rd setting. I can only put this on the first setting. There are about 6 settings. I would definitely ordered this again when this dies.
Sunbeam heated mattress pad
If you're in the market for an electric blanket... buy this instead... I live in an old house with no central heat and use electric radiators to heat my home. I do like sleeping in a chilly room but not a chilly bed, hence; I have always used an electric blanket. Last year I adopted a shelter kitty..he likes the bed and gets under the covers.. no longer a very safe place for an electric blanket. My friend in NH told me about mattress warmers, I had never heard of them. I bought this one and slept with it for the first time last night.. I slept all night !!!! No more cold patches here and there under the blanket.. what a nice, even heat and I can trust this with kitty. I am SO happy to get the bulk of an electric blanket off me. I love this, I really do. Perfect fit, perfect heat, perfect night's sleep. Happy New Year!
Better than a heated blanket
With the heat coming from underneath very little is lost. This one has 10 different settings though I have never gone higher than the 5th setting. I usually keep it on 2 or 3 and this is in a room where the night time temperature gets below 50 degrees. It is important that you use a fairly think piece of bedding material over this bad because if all you have is a sheet over it you will feel the wiring.
This is perfect for cold winter nights!
I have only had this a very short while and used it just a few times...but it works exactly as expected. While time will be the true test...my initial impressions are very good. I am pleased with the performance and would recommend this to my friends.
Wow, it does get hot fast!
I've always had a heated mattress pad and lost my control during a move, so I bought this one. I've never had one that gets this warm and does it almost instantly. I used to preheat my bed for over an hour (I hate getting into a cold bed in the winter), this one I turn on as I'm putting on my nightie! I do agree with others that the control is very hard to turn, I only use mine on high and then turn it off so not a big deal for me. What does matter to me is most of the heat is where your torso is and your feet get very little which is where it is most often needed. I have to curl up to get my feet warm. If those two things were corrected, it would be the perfect instant on heating pad!
Decent heated mattress pad.
This pad heats up quickly and is hot on the 2nd setting. The pad bunches up under the fitted sheet and you have to straighten it out all the time, but I am like a tornado when I sleep so they just may b me. I don't care for the feel of the fabric...it is a bit like thick felt paper. Worth the price though and keeps me warm.
It's ok if you're not "the princess and the pea"
There's nothing actually "wrong" with this mattress pad, but I didn't like it, while my husband had no problem with it. It works reliably, and it heats up to a REALLY hot temperatures. My problems with it are that it's hard and crinkly and makes noise every time I move. It also makes a buzzing noise intermittently that keeps me awake. Also, the wires are quite large and noticeable. I only turn my side of the bed on before getting in, just to warm it up. I can't sleep with it on because of the noise. But my husband doesn't notice any of the drawbacks that I do, so I guess it depends on how sensitive your hearing is and whether you notice the stiffness and lumpy wires. The only thing he doesn't like is that it gets too hot. We ended up just buying a different brand because of all the problems with this one.
It heats up well and takes the chill off the bed. However, the wires in the pad are HUGE with little padding from the pad. So I had to put a blanket on top of the mattress pad or she would have been sleeping on a bunch of extremely visible and large wires. The thickness of the blanket makes the wires barely discernable, but without the extra padding it would have been a useless AND unused mattress pad.
