The hear is as low as you like and goes up to a nice high heat that works and nit too hit to be uncomfortable. .Remarkable easy to slide controller designed for users with Arthritis . Hugh level heat. Features 3 setting and a long 9 ft extension cord., making it convenient to use in any room in your house . Its better than the one I have been using much more warmer and I love the slide feature with the remote . Comes with a vinyl pad cover easy t I clean just toss in the washer. Another great feature is the moist heat option by wetting the included heating pad sponge insert, with water for deep PE penetrating heat therapy .

The heating pad is inside a cloth envelope/pillow case and it bunches up inside when I put it on my back while sitting. I was hoping for a one-piece heating pad. However, it heats very quickly ... just not what I needed for my application.
