Easy installation. Not super sturdy but enough to keep it in place.  We are a little family of 3: mom, dad, and child who had a shoe mess in the closet. Now it finally looks and feels so much better.  2 pairs per shelve.

Great buy

It was a good buy. It is doing the job I need it to do. Only thing is I didn't know u had to nail it to the door in order to stop the shoes from falling. I learned that the hard way lol. (It does come with the nails tho)

Good

I'm an intelligent mid/late 20s female. There were a lot of conflicting reviews on this product ranging from being flimsy and cheap to durable and great and ones about needing nails or screws and others not needing it, and that's a lot to sift through. So here's the breakdown:
1. Be logical. You're clearly on the hunt for a rack to hold a lot of shoes, but you're not willing to pay a lot of money. You get what you pay for; you aren't getting a heavy-duty rack here. My take? It holds the shoes. No, it isn't going to fare as well if you try hanging off it, but it's designed to hold shoes. My husband's take up the top half, and mine the bottom. It holds the shoes. It works. Job accomplished.
2. It does feel a little flimsy as you're getting it on there, and the directions aren't wonderfully clear. Use your head or ask for a friend to give a second look if you're confused. Once it is all in place (yes, this involves reinforcements...I'll get there), it is sturdy. That's not going anywhere.
3. Mine did indeed need screws to keep it in place. The box said it included screws. It did not actually come with screws. I used 2 on the bottom of the bottom rack, and I used 2 on the bottom of the top rack. Those were crucial in it not flailing around as I opened and closed the door
4. It works. It is currently holding my shoes. I'm glad I didn't pay a lot of money for something to accomplish this for me.

Be logical

Easy to assemble. Holds a lot of shoes. And boots as well. Only 3 sets of boots of which I put at the very top of the rack.  The only thing I didn't like is the fact that you have to secure the rack to the door with 3 sets of screws. They go at the top, middle & the bottom of the rack. It secures the rack to the door so that the shoes don't fall out the back. I choose not to use the screws. It does ok, you just can't slam the door shut or the shoes will fall off.  So far that hasn't happened. The rack is not flush to the door & sticks out which makes it hard to open the door completely. It gives just enough room to get in & out of the door the bedroom. Not a problem if you're thin.

the hooks for this are not the ones that are in the package.  would have returned but that is just not possible.

This rack is easy to put together and it holds a lot of shoes but the shoes need to have a heel or they keep falling forward and end up on the floor

Works for shoes with a heel

Bars slide out of place easily and makes opening doors difficult if the rack is filled with any adult sized shoes. Works best for heels and short boot, but no for sneakers

Obsolete construction

Very cheap and its plastic and also too many screws to install on my door. Just needed one to just hang down on the back of my door.

Falls apart easily. Looks Awkward every where you place it. Shoes fall off. Ugly to look at. I should have returned for a refund but I destroyed and threw away the package when I opened it. Lesson learned... Always the Preserve the packaging.

Skip it. Do not buy.

This item is complete junk.  Do not waste your time or money on it.  The plastic pieces are so cheap they do not hang straight which is why they want you to screw it into your door in 4 places.  What?  Yes screw it into your door!!!  Um, no thank you!  Took this back and went to IKEA and got an amazing shoe rack.
