Very soft and nicely padded . Heats well

I can't get over how much more comfortable this pad is than my old electric mattress pad. I was skeptical of the fleece due to allergies. It hasn't bothered them as I wash it weekly. We'll see how it holds up but it's done very well so far.The extra padding is luxurious and the temperature controls are great.

I especially like how soft and comfy it feels without sacrificing the firmness of my mattress. Because I'm sensitive to cold (Raynaud's), I need to keep my body warm. I've never had it past the 6 setting even on the chilliest night. The 1 or 2 settings work for most nights - just a gentle warmth. I dislike sleeping under a lot of bedclothes, so this is perfect. As for washing, I'm lucky to use a laundromat that has a no heat setting on their dryers. I followed the washing directions and used the big table at laundromat to gently stretch out the pad, rolled it up and completed drying at my apartment by hanging from my room divider bookcase, It took a while but the pad dried soft and fluffy!
