We really like this monitor, it?s actually our second one. We have the monitor in both kids rooms and you are able to program both monitors on one portable screen. It does take it a minute to swap from each screen so I have both screens in my room and on at the same time. I wanted to make sure I didn?t miss anything when swapping views. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great as a extra pair of eyes and ears.
I have bought many of these cameras to be placed around my home, even use one outside sometimes. They are great for keep tabs on my grandson, and when packages are due to arrive, and i cant be everywhere all the time, I can just turn on a monitor and see whats going on. Plus it is hard to hear the door bell from certain areas of my home, works great for that too.
Great buy so far plus some added bonus'
We purchased this montior due to our original inview montior finally dying (last 5 years). Figured we would try the 2.0 since the last one work so well for us. Once recieved it was easy to set up as the camera was already sync to the montior. The screen is clear and sound seems great in our 2 story home. The picture is a bit more zoomed in then the last montior, which is great for the newborn stage but can be a hassle once they began being mobil. The night light is a nice add but im definitely missing the talk back feature, that was a savor in the toddle stages. Only reason Im giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Overall very happy with how it came out of the box and hoping it lasts as long as the last. Added bonus: all the cords are the same as the last model so we now have 2 extra cords AND i was able to successfully pair my older model camera to the new montior. Yay for 2 functioning cameras!!
Wow for screen size!!
The Summer in view 2.0 has an amazing screen size! The clarity of what's on the screen is amazing as well! All the controls and button are easy to access and work. The camera itself is has a night light which is good for smaller babies. It does not have a very wide range which is one of the only two down sides. With the other being there is. On two way communication. Which I personally like because I talk to my child through that. There is a zoom feature which is ok, it literally zooms in but the amount of zoom is uncontrollable by you. The battery is actually really great as well! Most nights it last trough the night when it's been fully charged! Other then that the Summer infant in view 2.0 is a good quality camera monitor. Very well priced for what you get and works excellent. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this monitor!
Narrow View and No Two-Way Talk option!
We've had the Wide View for years and have loved it, but when one the cameras broke, I started looking to replace the system. We bought this one and although I was aware that it's a much narrower view, it's tough to get used to! I'm not sure why there needs to be such a zoom. The worst part is that there's no two-way talk.
I ended up finally finding a replacement camera for the Wide View, so this one will now be our travel/grandparents' system. Please bring back the Wide View!
Night vision is very hard to see baby
I find when the camera is on the crib rail pointing down, the picture is good.. but now that baby is bigger and the monitor had to be moved.. I can hardly see him in his crib. The sound quality is good, but I wouldn't recommend this monitor if you like to see your child. It's very grainy and grey.. and his room is pitch black.
We bought this monitor three weeks ago. The monitor was perfect. We could see little one clearly and the night Vision was good. There is a night light option also. But recently the monitor stopped connecting. I can still hear my baby but can't hear him. I keep trying to turn it on on and off , unplugging it , and it won't show a picture. Don't know if anyone else had this issue but it's very frustrating.
"No Signal" - will not connect
We loved this monitor at first. Simple. Easy to use. High quality picture and night vision. But all of a sudden the camera stopped connecting to the monitor and we cannot see or hear our baby anymore. We called customer service and they told us we need to buy a new system.
Well, we have a new baby on the way and we were going to buy another Summer video camera and monitor, but we'll most likely end up buying a new system from another manufacturer. I'm open to recommendations.
Not just a BABY monitor!
This product is one of the most important pieces of my ability to care for my disabled husband at home for the past 3 years. He requires constant reminding to stay in bed or in his special wheelchair. Being able to move the camera easily and take the monitor anywhere in the house allows me to see and hear him BEFORE he falls, while I am attending to other tasks in another room. The customer representative at Summer was kind and so helpful in selecting what model would suffice my specific need. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
