This blower is excellent when it comes to entertaining your little one at bathtime. It blows lots and lots of bubbles. The directions say to only use summer infant tearless bubble liquid with it but we ran out very quickly and are using johnson and johnson's baby shampoo, which works just as well. The only problem is that after a few minutes of blowing, foam builds up on the outside so I have to wipe it down and add a little water to it because it gets too thick. It's so entertaining that I've purchased 2 more as gifts.

Lots and lots of fun!!
Great and fun product
I bought this for my son who is 3 who LOVES to spill water into the floor at bathtime. He has caused alot of damage to the ceiling before he has done it for so long but thanks to this product the only thing he wants to do now when he gets in the bath is to play with his bubble machine. No bubbles do not fly out of this but enough to make your kids happy. If you put it up high then they land in water and no water mixes in with solution. I put it at my 3 year olds height. He LOVES it. I was so worried about the price and how to get extra bubble solution but you just go to their website and the solution is there at a great price! Great idea and it could save me on replacing a ceiling!
cute but annoying
We got this to make bath time more fun for our 9 month old. It's fun to him, but annoying for us. First of all, it does not have an off button. It goes on forever and forever all the while using up more and more bubble solution. We have had to keep the battery compartment open and actually remove one of the batteries in order to turn it off each bath time. This also means we have to hold it during bath time due to the open compartment. I have noticed that when I use my own bubble solution all of the bubbles just stick together in one big bubble, which is also annoying.
This product is cute, and my daughter who is 17 months old gets very excited when we turn it on but the bubbles only come out for a few minutes and you have to keep adding more and more bubbles, it also recommends you buy their product of bubbles only, which I am not sure why, I just use our own bubbles. Even though it is a hassel and it goes through alot of bubbles I still recommend it for the price and bubbles are pritty cheap to come by, I find it is worth it to hear my daughter giggle in delight no matter how often I must refill it.
Should have been better!
I bought this for my son because it looked nice and looked like he would have fun with it. When I got it home my son was excited, I had him ready to get in the bath tub, the suction cups failed and it fell in the tub. I got it out. I figured since it was made for the bath tub that water wouln't hurt it. I was wrong!!! It wouldn't work we were very disappointed! I went to Wal-mart the next day and bought another one and it did the same thing. There definately needs to be some big improvements on this product!!!
waste of time and money
I bought this recently for my 2 year old who is obsessed with bubbles. I might as well have taken my eleven dollars and let her chew it up. Seriously. First it took FOREVER to unscrew the backs to put the batteries in. Thankfully screwing them back in wasn't hard. Finally got that going and pour the bubbles in and there's my little one in the tub who's been waiting patiently for her bubbles and the thing didn't even work!!! I mean it made noise, a very horrible and irritating noise- not the soothing sound you want at bathtime. And it really only made one very big bubble that never left the contraption, it seemed that everytime the gears or whatever went around it was popping any potential bubbles. The only time we got any bubbles (small tiny ones at that) to float our of it was if you sat to the side of it and blew gently into it. Come on, the whole point of buying this is to keep from having to manually blow the bubbles. Really this deserves a ranking of NO stars. Don't waste your money, go buy a happy meal with it instead or something.
Not worth it
My husband and I purchased this bubble machine for our daughter and have been very disappointed. The bubbles don't fully form--they burste before they even release from the wands--so they never become a real "bubble" just a partial one sticking out of the machine. My daughter doesn't even want to look at is as the solution is always popping in her face. And without bubbles floating around to look at its definitely not worth it.
Did anybody at the company actually TEST this?
First of all, the packaging does not say anything about needing batteries, what kind, or how many. And the written instructions state you only need 2 (you need 4). It also says there are two speed settings on this website...wrong! I started it up and the bubbles, as stated by several other reviewers, came out but never released from the mechanism. I am wondering how something touted as a bubble maker can slip off the manufactuaring belt and into consumer's hands without anyone thinking to actually TEST it for consistently delivering?!?!?! What a waste of time! Do not buy it. It just doesn't work, makes horrific grinding noises, and doesn't live up to any of its expectations. Frustrating!
i was very disappointed with the bubble maker. most of the time it does not make bubbles at all. it makes more noise than bubbles. i bought two at christmas. one for my daughter and the other as a gift for someone else and thiers did not work at all.
Loud with NO Bubbles!
This product is very loud once you turn it on and even though the bubble wands do spin around, there were litterally only 2-3 bubbles that shot out every 20 seconds. I even made sure there was enough bubble liquid in the compartment too but it just doesn't work good at all!
