I'm super curvy with a long torso and had basically given up on one piece swimsuits altogether. I'm really into the vintage/retro look so I thought I'd give this one a try. I bought the cherry and the polka dot print. After owning tankinis for years, I was pleasantly surprised that this suit fit like a dream and was very well made. The ruching and the sweetheart neckline make all the difference. The ruched front can be fixed to your liking; you can either make it more skirt like or scrunch it up. I can't wait to wear them this summer and sashay around the pool. If you have a longer torso as well, this suit might be a great option for you. It is still slightly too short on me but it is barely noticeable and still comfortable. I'm in my mid thirties now and it seems all the suits these days either are very frumpy or resemble two pasties and a cork. This suit is very flattering, modest, and sexy all rolled into one. I haven't bought a new swimsuit in several years and I couldn't be more happy with my purchases!

I got the black polka-dot in 3x. I'm a size 26-28 on bottom and a size XL-XXL--44DDD on top. And this fits great, it's really stretchy on the bottom where it counts, so the back gets slightly sheer because I have such a large bottom, but it fits amazingly and definitely holds my front FUPA in. If you're more endowed than a DDD/F cup, then you might have issues with this not holding up your bust--just a warning, because you're supported mostly by the neck tie as well as the back band. make sure the back band is pulled up right to your armpits and that it's even all the way around--otherwise you will get ZERO support--the upper edge of the back -has- to be up and almost even with the front or else it won't fit right and the neck strap will likely hurt your neck. The polka-dot print is great, sadly they were out of the cherry print in 3x, but honestly any of the colors will work if you love retro styling--and I would highly recommend this, especially for the $25 I paid--compared to some of the Torrid bathingsuits available for nearly 3x as much(I actually tried on a few of theirs and my butt didn't fit right), this is a bargain.

I just got this suit in the mail last week. FIRSTLY, it fits amazingly..! and it's extremely flattering! I ordered the red/black dots style. The dots are white with a black outline- SO CUTE! For sizing comparisons, I'm 5'6", weigh 235 pounds, and am pretty evenly distributed. I do have a gut, and DD breast. the 2X fit like a dream! The detail on the suit is hard to see, so i looked at the plain colored version before purchasing. The seams on the sides are more toward the front, but not like ON my belly. It's just slightly toward the tummy, but it's very flattering. overall I'm ecstatic about this suit, and cannot wait to wear it to the beach this week! (also, these types of suit style generally range between $60-$200 on other sites. so at $35, it's a steal!) Highly Recommend.

If you are plus sized this is buy far THE BEST DEAL you will ever find I have searched the internet and my local stores for months and haven't found a plus-size bathing suit that is cute, comfy, and affordable. I am a teenager 5'9" and currently am down to 285LBS I wear a size 12/Large in pants, 2x or 3x in tops and a 44b/c in bras. For years I have either had to go without a bathing suit or wear an embarrassing one. Even though my legs and arms are far from toned I don't mind showing them off my usual attire is racer back tanks and short shorts. Like I said I have been look for months for an affordable bathing suit because I just couldn't even think about asking my single mother of three for a $100 bathing suit. The only ones I found that were remotely "in style" and didn't have that god awful floral print were at torrid ranging from two-pieces $50 a piece to 100 and something dollar one pieces. Beings that I have such a weird body I was unsure of what size to buy, I always normally get the biggest possible size but I didn't want it to be to big, after thinking about it I went ahead with the 3x it is made out of spandex so It'll conjurer to your smaller parts. I also read alot of reviews of people complaining about the skirt not going all the way around even so its still can't be beat. I personally prefer it not going all the way around it makes it look like to much of an outfit verses a bathing suit.

I'm a 44 G size and afraid the halter top would cause a lot of neck strain
    by izzysmommy 4/22/2014

    • A. I wear a 42 G, and the halter strap did cause a lot of neck strain. It felt like a knife digging into my spine when I tied the halter tight enough to hold up my boobs. So I decided to get a strapless bra just to wear with my swimsuits. Best decision ever. It supports all the weight of the boobs and make your cleavage look fantastic in any suit. And now I'm not limited to only swimsuits that have underwires and enough support for the girls, which is great because that is really limiting when you have an enormous chest.

    • A. You won't have much support. I love my swimsuit, but my 44DDs were not supported as well as they could have. I would say skip this one - you should probably get a swimsuit with an underwire.

    • A. I'm a 44DDD and I bought the 3x. I found the boob compartment to be a little too snug and the straps more decorative than functional. The strap material is slinky, so I was afraid to tie too tightly, like the stitches would give out first.

    • A. I am similar in bust size and it doesn't seem like a problem...the fit is comfortable for me. In fact I really like the fact that it accommodated my large chest so well. Hope this helps.

    • A. I'm a 46 G and YES, the halter causes a lot of strain on the neck. When I bought the suit and tried it on, I could not stand to wear the halter because it hurt my shoulders/neck so much. HOWEVER, I was able to remedy this, PLUS give my new swimsuit extra lift for my large breasts......... if you can do simple sewing, you can do it! I crisscrossed the straps in the back and sewed them to the upper back part of the swimsuit (like other swimsuits with crisscross back straps). I measured first by safety pinning the straps to wear they would lift and fit comfortable. I have a very hard time finding swim suits that will "hold me up" and by making the alterations to this suit, I now have a suit that fits well!!

    • A. I'm a D-cup and I find the neck-strap to be just slightly uncomfortable only because the built-in bra provides little to no support for me. I wouldn't recommend this particular suit for that reason. I find the suit great in every other way. If you do decide to try this suit, I recommend ordering a size larger than you think you need, because my first order of it was too short in the torso.

    • A. I think it depends on your bust size. If you are smaller in the bust for the size you order, you might have gapping; if you are larger, it could not hold the bust as well since the straps are more on the sides than directly in front. The good thing about the straps is that they are continuous without seams in the middle. (I have had past halter styles where the straps were made longer and so not only was there the length long seam, but also one in the middle of the strap to elongate it.)

    • A. I'm a 40-42 D-cup and wear a size 18/20. I re-ordered a size 3X(22/24) of this bathing suit because my first order in my usual size was too short in the torso. I find the built-in bra to fit well, but provide little to no support. If you're looking for lift, I wouldn't recommend this particular suit for that reason. If you do decide to try this bathing suit, I would recommend ordering a size larger than what you usually wear.
