Made with sweet molasses and brown sugar, this thick, rich sauce is dripping with sticky sweetness that you're gonna love on anything you put on the grill. The story goes that Stubb, who loved music and a good road trip, would load his Cadillac with a batch of barbecue he cooked up and head to Memphis. Then he'd find out who was playing a gig that night, show up and turn his food into a backstage pass. After trying some sweet Memphis-style barbecue sauces, he came back to Texas and made his own version. And he sure did make a delicious one. You've never had pork ribs until you've had made them with this sweet Southern-style barbecue sauce. Nothing exciting
I tried the Stubb's Citrus & Onion Chicken Marinade on chicken quarters, cooked on a BBQ grill. The marinade was very thin and the oil would quickly separate to the top no matter how long I whisked it. This was a problem when I needed to remove 1/2 c. to use for marinating and save the remainder for brushing on while cooking. I felt I was not getting a well mixed portion. There was also very little left to brush on during cooking. I wish it would stay mixed and was a little thicker so it would cling to the chicken better. The overall cooked flavor was very weak with no flavor highlights to speak of. About all I could taste was a little onion, but I didn't get citrus or spice flavor out of it.     Good flavor!
    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made a beef brisket on the grill and smoked it. I used Stubb's for the serving sauce and was it good! I mixed it with the meat drippings and it was excellent! Not too sweet but a little bit of spice.

    Stubbs Bar-B-Que Sauce is the Best!
    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stubbs is ALWAYS on my top shelf when Bar B Que is under way. There are so many choices to choose from but the consistency, and deep flavor is what I am after. I enjoy the sauce on barbecued chicken, ribs, roast, but especially it is enjoyed when throwing a ham on a charcoal grill. I like to coat the ham toward the end of the ham roast adding a few layers and find that when its time to cut the ham a nice glaze has formed adding a perfect taste.

    Excellent smoky flavor

    Best BBQ ever
    Wow Stubb's beats my sauce family and friends have raved about for years. No more slaving over the stove to make mine when I can use Stubb's Bar B Q sauce. It has just the right tang and sweetness to make your dish taste wonderful. You will be sure you will find this in my pantry from now because it's awesome.
