Product details

Learning to ride a bike shouldn’t be complicated or frustrating. With no pedals or gears, the Strider 12 Classic - Red allows children to develop the balance, confidence, and grit it takes to tackle riding and face the world head-on. The Strider 12 Classic is our basic model that gives every kid (unisex) the chance to experience the simple joy of a Genuine Strider Bike (at least until naptime). The budget-friendly Strider 12 Classic will handle all the abuse your toddler can dole out. The lightweight steel frame was specifically constructed for child-level durability, and our Flat-Free Foam Rubber Tires mean you’ll never have to fix a flat or worry about a tire pump no matter what your little ripper rolls over or through. In addition, it has the lowest seat height of any balance bike (28-40 cm [11-16 in.]) on the market, so it fits an inseam of 30-43 cm (12-17 in.). That means even the tiniest of toddlers can find the perfect fit to build their confidence. The Strider 12 Classic is a great, unembellished choice for those that want to jump in the pool but aren’t quite ready to cannonball. If you are ready to cannonball and make a splash, were commend the Strider 12 Sport (it’ll grow with your kiddo even longer). The Strider 12 Classic is great for kiddos 18 months to 3 years. With Strider Bikes, learning to ride is child’s play. Our Learn-To-Ride Guide, available online when you register your child’s Strider, gives step-by-step advice to help your little one go from baby steps to barreling through the neighborhood. Experience success (both you and your kiddo)with a Genuine Strider Bike.

We love strider bikes.

My son started riding his strider at 18 months old and still wearing diapers. This past year we have traveled all over Ny for BMX races. He loves it so much and puts in so much effort. He won the NYS race and is so proud of himself. Thank you Strider for the wonderful bike. Not only do my children get great exercise but it is building confidence.

Disappointed with quality of the bike

The tires are plastic (not rubber) and the seat is hard plastic. I put it back into the box and sent it back disappointed that it was cheaply made - cost more than much nicer bikes.

    Amazing!!!

My son was born without a fully formed right hand, I actually doubted he'd be able to ride a bike without a full grip. I bought him the strider when he was 2 1/2 and there was no stopping him!! At 3 years and 2 months old, he jumped on a 2 wheeled pedal bike and without any assistance, he rode halfway down the block. It was just amazing. I tell everyone I know with young kids to buy a strider and only a strider!!

    Great investment!!!

We bought this balance bike for my son when he was 18 months. At first he just walked around with it and eventually he was sitting on the seat and cruising. He really picked it up by 2 and by 3 he was pedaling a peddle bike! Now he's riding his pw50 dirt bike with NO training wheels and he's only 3. I seriously have to give SO much credit to his strider bike for that. Such a great investment! :)

    Best first bike ever!!

We gave this bike to our son last Christmas (2016) when he was 2.5 yrs old, he loved it from day one and was trying to balance by day 3! Thanks to this bike he has learned to balance quickly and just enjoy the outdoors! He rides it around the park, to school, and even down the mountain hills when I go hiking. This Christmas he received the 14X Strider and he was able to go straight to the pedals the first week at 3.5 yrs old! We are thrilled with his balancing skills and his overall confidence. Thank you Strider!!

    Awesome Bike

Great Bike My son was approximately 20 months old when he started out on the strider bike. At age 2 my son started riding his pedal bike (no training wheels) like a pro. Now I have to try to keep up with him. http://news4sanantonio.com/news/local/hes-only-two-and-hes-already-riding-a-bicycle
