I bought the 14lb version and it was equivalent to 3lb mono in diameter, which is pretty small, even for braid. It is also a very light line so that can complicate things when it's windy out. I kept getting wind knots (it was only about a 4mph wind) and it seemed to want to backlash a lot on my bait casting reel. I tried about every setting on the reel (magnetic and centrifugal) and it still backlashed. The only way I could throw it was to cast down wind. I think if I were to buy it again I would maybe try it out in a larger diameter line like the 30lb test. Over all I would say that the line is a high quality line but you have to realize that it might be smaller in diameter and lighter than what you might be use to. It seemed really strong and it held knots well and I did not have any breaks. I think if you matched it with the right rod for the right purpose it would be good.
