I was very happy to be able to buy the iPhone contract free at Walmart, but it would be nice if Straight Talk could make some improvements to make it easier for the buyer to use the phone right out of the box. I used the Walmart "site to store" option, and the phone arrived two days prior to the projected arrival date. Pickup at the store was fast and easy. I was able to set the phone up online with no problems, and my number ported over from my old phone (also on Straight talk and a CDMA phone) within a couple of hours. My issue with this purchase was that the data on the phone did not work right away. It worked fine on my wifi network, but I had no data for about 3 days and had to call Straight Talk multiple times to get it resolved. You have to tell them they need to "Provision the phone for data services" and that you are not able to receive data. The third rep finally understood what needed to be done and walked me through a bunch of steps, then placed me on hold and contacted Verizon to change some settings on their end, and then the data worked. So it was a little annoying to get going, but now it works great and I am very pleased.
