Perfect for cassette collection storage!!!
With the cassette comeback in full swing, I figured I'd share how perfect these are for storage. Wether under a bed in the dark (best for tapes) or in a cool garage stacked up, they're built for three rows of tapes and you can even lay a few flatly across the tops of the rows when full. Static free, stackable, breathable tape storage. Happy collecting!!!
Not just for storage!
Just what I expected. Good for storage under the bed. Same material as the smaller sterilite products, so don't expect something crush proof. The main reason I bought them was to try one out as a "litter box" for my Chihuahua. I cut out one end so she can walk in, and lined it with 2 puppy pads. Now there's no leaking off the puppy pads onto the floor.
Like these boxes the best
I have been buying different boxes and these are the ones I should have been getting. They are clear, so I can see what is in each box when they are stacked up. And these stay stacked up better than the ones I had been getting before. Now my store room will be nice and neat.
Great for the price and my purposes.
Perfect for what I needed, and the best price I could find for any plastic/tupperware-type under the bed storage anywhere (looked on amazon, target, tj maxx, ross, etc.) While the containers are quite durable, the lid is a little flimsy and only locks into place at handles. So if you over fill it, the lid bows to reach each handle and creates gaps between the lid and the container walls on each long side. (ie not remotely airtight, and the contents will be exposed on the edges). However, for my purposes these don't need to seal tightly, nor am I filling them very full. I just wanted something to cover them to keep dust from settling on top.
I bought these totes to stores some hair tools and beauty supplies that I use, but not as often. I also planned to use them to store my son's costumes and other play items under his bed. These will work well. My son's bed is a bit too low, so we'll have to raise the frame some. I don't mind doing this. I did purchase these same bins a long time ago, and the plastic seems to be thinner. But considering it'll be under beds, this shouldn't be a problem.
