Top Positive Review
The best viewing experience of any Star Wars movie
Great follow up to The Force Awakens! I can’t imagine anyone complaining about this film... especially after the tremendously awful “prequel” episodes I-III. This movie continues with the storyline and characters we all love (Luke, Chewie, Leia, etc) and most importantly it still LOOKS and feels like a star wars film, cinematically speaking, and not some over-CGI’d live-action cartoon like the aforementioned movies. I feel like its a nice addition to the story, and sets the stage nicely for the upcoming Episode IX at the end of 2019. The introduction of new characters with the old familiar ones is a great way to transition to a new generation of star wars that we can enjoy for years to come. As far as the disc goes, this is about as good as it gets at this point in time. Clear and bright 4k Dolby Vision HDR video combines with Dolby Atmos 3D sound to create the best looking and most immersive home viewing experience of a star wars movie ever. Highly recommended if you’ve got a capable home theatre system that can take advantage of these features.

Destroyed Star Wars as we knew it.
Completely abandoned what Star Wars was, and destroyed it. I do not recommend this to any Star Wars fan.

Don't be deterred by the vocal minority

This is another great addition to the saga films. It seems the people that decide to hate it or complain about it had their own preconceived notions about what the film should have been and when it didn't happen, they got angry. Mark Hamill does a great job as old man Luke while Daisy Ridley continues to grow into the franchise's next mega star. There was solid character development, some wonderful humor and one liners, and one of the most epic fight scenes in Star Wars history. It gets better and better every time you watch it. Can't recommend enough
The Last Jedi kind of tends to get a raw deal from some of the fans. But I see The Last Jedi as a film about coming to grips with the past, but I think the most prominent theme of the film is self-sacrifice. Everybody has some role in trying to save what's left of the resistance. There isn't much, and the tension is ratcheted by the fact that throughout the whole movie they're still on the run from the First order. Everyone gives great performances, the story is great, I enjoyed the whole film and I'm not sure what else you could ask for in a great Star Wars movie.

A good flick, grate action

Enjoyed the new Star Wars flick. Saw reviews that some did not like it but my wife and I thought it was very good. Of course no one makes movies any more so you can hear what the characters are actually saying. Wish the film makers would fix that.
Amazing movie with amazing action and twists. Great story full of surprises. Some unanswered questions that will be answered in the next film but that's what keeps us excited about Star Wars.

1. I believe that with this kind of purchase (4K, BluRay), it is assumed that you have the equipment to watch Blu Ray, and 4K, so with both of those being Hi-Def, and Ultra-Hi-Def respectively, why would the consumer want to watch regular definition on a DVD. That is my guess, anyway.
by Dave
2. Standared dvd (480) is soon to be a thing of the past like cassete tapes, even the players if any are left are over with. New 4k players can be purchased reasonably. It's time to upgrade your system!
by Raven
3. Can the 4K ultra Hd play on a regular DVD player?
by Lbollen
4. No. Why buy 4k Blu Ray disc to play on regular dvd player? Just buy regular dvd. It's cheaper.

1. In my experience, Disney is the only studio I think that doesn't do this. Not 100% sure since the rules are always changing, but I have preordered a Disney blu-ray in the past and didn't get the digital copy until I received the blu-ray and entered the code through Disney's system.

2. They haven't done that in the past with my orders.
