Awful WASTE OF MONEY. DO NOT BUY THIS TRASH!
This item is a complete waste of money. Difficult to put together difficult to take apart, and once I put it together within minutes it ripped at the seams like butter. I've had better products from DollarTree then this awful AWFUL Kennel. DO NOT waste your hard-earned money on this. I hope Walmart takes this item off of its selves and consult the manufactures.

Great kennel and space saver

My dog is a 45 pounds and 3 legged. The only problem I can say I have had with him in this is that he is never in the same place I put him. He rolls this all around the house like a hamster ball. LOL. As far a durability I have not had an issue. he doesn't dig at it but he walks it over and over till gets where ever it is he wants to be. the kennel folds up flat and stores in very very small space. my dog does't mind going in his kennel but it did take a few days for him to get used to the difference he was accustomed to the metal and was a bit scared of this one till he found that he could move it. now I think the likes it a bit to much. If and when this kennel wears out I will be purchasing another just like it. and one more thing. My dog has long toe nails and so far I have not had an issue with him ripping this up. I have had this over a month and it shows no signs of tearing up. if your dog has vision problems he/she may try to go in on the wrong side of kennel as parts of it look the same. sometimes my dog tries to push in on the wrong side. I hope my feedback on this product helps. I wont use the metal one again this is way to convenient.

I got this for my 2 cats to ride in from Iowa to Az it fit both of them and a cat bed very comfortably. They still like to play in it now and it's super funny when they try to stand on it and it goes. flat. lol!

Good product, but I got a dud

Easy to set up, probably would be easier the second time because the long sections would already be assembled, love that broken down in the bag it's the size of a collapsible chair, BUT when I went to undo the Velcro to strap the backside of the kennel in the whole seam of the black fabric that holds the pole ripped out. The other seams look fine, and honestly if it wasn't a free return I would run it through my sewing machine and fix it. I think I just had bad luck and got a bad seam. I'm returning this one for a replacement of the same thing. Definitely set it up and test it before leaving for a trip.

Not happy

Tried this to kennel train my chihuahua...hasnt even been a week and it tore already which gave way for him to easily chew a hole threw it. Not recommeded for TRAINING but ok if already trained

1. I think it will hold a pit bull as long as it won't chew on it (there isn't too much to chew on in the inside) or lean on the walls. It won't support the weight of your dog leaning on the sides. Don't worry about the size. I opened up the X-Large one in the store, and I could've easily crawled inside (I didn't).

2. No problem.

3. I sincerely doubt it will hold that size dog for very long.
by hsvcatmom
4. yes, it can if you get the big, XL size or even the large size. as long as your dog isn't a chewing dog or is crated inside this product when energetic, it should work good.
by fangs211
5. Our Extra Large Kennel is meant for dogs up to 100 lbs, so your pit bull should be able to fit just fine. You may want to double check the length of your dog, as the kennel is 42" long.

6. yes, we bought it for a american bull dog, she weights about 85 lbs

1. You have to twist it so that it seems to be three circles.
by MozartPoodles
2. go to the sportpet site and watch their video - it's very easy to do after you have seen it done.
by hsvcatmom
3. I had trouble figuring this out as well. You have to push the kennel over from the side. so instead of a cube, you have two sides of the kennel folded up-it shoudl look sort of like this- (_)(_). the top and side and bottom and side folded. not like this (_(__)_) I know, bad illustrations. you don't squish it down because that bends the wires inside. then you fold it in so it's like this (__), with all four sides behind each other. Then you just grab it by the side and push it together while twisting it. That should bend the wires on all of them and fold it in a neat, compact circle that you can tie up. I hope this helps a bit.
by fangs211
4. Please go to the link below to see a video of the kennel being folded for storage. http://www.sportpetdesign.com/videos/popopenkennelvideo.html

5. The first time wasn't so easy, the instructions are not clear at all. But I love this product and hope you will too. 1. Lay it flat by pushing on long edge down to the floor, and folding the 2 edges together. It will then be a flat piece. 2. Hold it against you with the long edge across your waist and your hands on diagonal corners. 3. Twist the corners toward the center and at the same time turn them away from each other as they get close to the center - this is tricky, but what happens is that you create two small circles that then fit onto each other, leaving the finished result the size of a frisbee. (I have the XL size, for my lab.) I have a velcro "belt" to hold it together but I don't think it came with the kennel.
