My husband is an equipment operator and needed a light weight shirt with long sleeves to keep the sun off of his arms. I purchased the XL light blue, gray and white. The blue is a nice subdued color, not too bright. These shirts are very silky and cooling in our hot desert climate.
The fabric has a slight sheen without being shiny like some other sport type shirts. He likes that they are very stretchy and comfortable without loosing their shape. He has gotten some nice complements from people at work, and that's saying something, coming from guys working in construction! He does look very nice; the shirt is long, doesn't ride up, roomy without being baggy( he has a bit of a beer belly), the upper arms are roomy and the lower sleeves taper down a bit on the forearms and don't get in the way while he is working.
Cons: The fabric tends to pill slightly if rubbed by a rough jacket over it, but my husband wears suspenders over the shirt and it still looks good. I would keep the shirt away from anything with velcro. The wide neck opening is very comfortable, but for sun protection it leaves the back of the neck/shoulder area uncovered.
Overall, my husband really likes his new shirts. He wears them every day.
