Purchased this platform bed for my guest bedroom. It arrived on time and was well packaged with no damage. It took me awhile but I put it together myself and it's well-made and sturdy. Clean lines, modern, and would work well in almost any decor. I'm very pleased!

A very good product for its price range!
It looks very intimidating when you read the instructions to put it together but once you get going it's pretty simple. I advise it is a 2 person job though. The final product when put together correctly is really nice ,looks just like the picture in the ad & is very sturdy! My only complaint is one of the legs came damaged with a nice chunk missing but I can deal with it as I put it at the head of the bed where it won't be so conspicuous & I'm going to paint over the gash to help conceal it. Sharp edges not kid-friendly
Needed two twin size beds without headboard for my 4 YO twins' room. Straightforward to assemble, clean white modern look. Edges of bed and corner posts have very sharp right angle cuts which is not safe for kids- wish they were sanded to round the edges. Edge of twin size platform is an inch wider on all sides than my standard twin mattress so the raw plywood platform shows unless bedding is draped over to cover.
I have had the bed for about 30 days, I think it looks awesome.. At first it was very stable but in the last few days it started bowing the top where the headboard goes and the foot of the bed. So I added a leg to one of slats and then screwed all the slats into the heaboard and footboard as well as screw into the slats that go opposite of the others.. It is totally awesome now, quiet and durable.
After 12 loooong years I finally purchased a new mattress - a memory foam mattress (from Sam's Club) and decided instead of a box spring I would roll the dice and get a platform bed. A friend helped me assemble it - unless you're extremely flexible you may want to call in a favor. It didn't take long to assemble and before I knew it I was sitting on my brand new bed! No more squeaks and sags - love it. Warning... don't walk to close to it. I have scrapes a bruises from hitting my shins on the corners. I know... I know... be more graceful. It's a challenge. I'm working on it. But in the meantime I can rest my shins on a great bed!
Great inexpensive bed frame
Bought this for a new memory foam mattress that requires a platform bed. The box is definitely heavy. Slid it inside, opened it up, and took the parts downstairs a few at a time. The parts were very well packaged, shrink wrapped tightly with hard paperboard angle pieces protecting all the corners and cardboard/foam on the ends. All parts were labeled, instructions were clear. Took about 45 minutes to put together, but no problems. Some of the screws didn't have predrilled holes, but they are of the self tapping variety, so it went OK, just takes a little more effort. Very pleased so far with this inexpensive frame.
Less than expected
I may be naive, because I actually hoped that this bed would look alright even though it was such a steal. I knew it'd be veneered plywood, but didn't guess that it'd be poorly wrapped in woodgrain-look plastic that was peeling. And it says low profile, which I'm assuming now means the edging around it, because my mattress sits higher than in my old bed. It's so high because the platform part of the bed is even with the top of the wooden edges. I assumed (because that's how most beds are constructed) that the mattress would sit within the side rails, on a platform that's midway down. No. So instead, now you can see a large gap between the mattress and the edge [yes, I'm using the right size mattress] where light colored plywood is highly visible. It looks ugly and contrasts highly with the dark woodtone edging. Also, in putting it together there were a number of holes missing that we needed to drill ourselves [yes, I read the directions correctly], and two screws missing. Needless to say the construction process was a bit frustrating. I'm not mad at the bed. It is what it is. I'm mad at myself for hoping that it might be something else.
Do not purchase!!
I have had this bed for less than 1 year and it has completely fallen apart. The support beams in the middle as well as the connecting parts have broken. My husband and I do not weigh more than a combined 300 lbs so it is not from overweighting the bed!!! It looks nice and we liked it when we first got it, but it has not held steady for more than 10 months!!!! Spend a little more and get a better bed!!!!!!
Great bed - lousy customer service
I love this bed. Customer service, however fell short. The bed arrived without the hardware. I called customer service, and they shipped the hardware within 24 hours. They would not expedite shipping. 10 days later the hardware arrived. The package was missing a support. I called customer service - same story - another 10 days. Instructions were very poor and some pieces were missing holes. Once assembled (with a little guess work on the instructions and drilling out missing holes) the bed is sturdy, very good looking and adds the sleekness I was looking for in my bedroom.
Poor overall quality
This product is made of low quality wood, one of the boards fell apart while I was putting the bed together. The wholes for the dowels are cut too large so they easily come out. The directions say no. Red for drilling but there are not wholes remade for all screws. Not worth the money at all!!!
