I bought the Sony A7RV 3 months ago coming from the Sony SLT A-77 Also I purchased the newest an A-mount adapter so my old lenses work flawlessly and focus way faster vs my old camera. Love the swivel LCD and the ergonomics of the camera 61 MP is nice to work with. I like the clear zoom image tech to 2x any lens even though it's jpeg that's a great tool and still retains 60 mp. I also like the fact you can choose apsc mode and shoot 26 MP if you want extra reach shooting in raw without buying more lenses.. The pictures are phenominal love it and since it does movies I started learning movie editing and enjoy the 8K footage.. Would of been nice to know ahead of time if you want to use the top features of the camera 10 fps 8k video you will need a cf express type A card and they are not cheap.. The eye focus has amazing colors the rear LCD is good not exceptional for zooming quality they have room to improve that it's good don't get me wrong it's just that it potentially could be eye pooping better .. I like that I can tether my S9 Ultra 14" tablet via wireless with the camera I can use it as a remote and as a huge monitor.. easy to show people the portrait with the eye popping colors..

Remarkable camera

I bought this about 5 weeks ago, and have put it through its paces with all of my lenses in all of the situations I typically take photos. I already own the 7R3, which I love. So I was just a tiny bit skeptical about a considerably more expensive model. I didn't think it possible that image quality could be even better than what I was already getting. I was wrong. Absolutely stunning. Sensor tests suggest the 7R5 and 7R3 are nearly identical in color depth, but the 7R5 seems better to me (take that with a grain of salt - I am colorblind!). Dynamic range is wonderful - about as good as any unit on the market. I like the slightly larger body and additional heft compared to the 7R3. The electronic viewfinder is fantastic. Some people have whined about the menus, but I rather like them. Keeping my 7R3 too - I still love it. Nice work, Sony.
