Decently loud but not for true DEEP sleepers. Granted it is louder than any other alarm clock I've had, but it does not live up to its claims. It is loud enough to make me hit the snooze after ten to fifteen rings but not nearly loud enough to scare me awake like so many people say. If anything the bed shaker annoys me awake. Kudos though to the designers for making the buttons out of sharp plastic spikes. I seriously doubt the 113 dB rating. It will do until I find another truly loud alarm clock.

- 5 out of 5 stars review10/14/2011After reading the reviews on this alarm clock i got all excited because i am most definitely a heavy sleeper and have a hard time getting up. Unfortunately the clock doesn't automatically reset itself if you lay back down but that is on me. The Buzz on the alarm is able to be set at different tones and you can set it to which you find most annoying. It has 4 options when setting the alarm to go off: Buzz, Buzz/Vibrate, Vibrate, and Off. The Vibrate feature itself will wake you up. When i first set up the clock it was sitting in the floor across the room and just the violent buzzing from the vibrate feature woke me up. This morning i woke up to just the Vibrate going off when i stuck it under my mattress. I really just wanted to test this ou...

Including that vibrating pad, place that under your pillow or fitted by the time your alarm goes off itll shake your pillow hard enough to wake your ... up! i got 3 for me n my teenagers an my neighbor told me he nolonger uses his alarm because my oldest son sleeps with his window ajar an my neighbor does too, its loud enough to wake him.
