So far, my Singer sewing machine purchase works like no other sewing machine I have ever owned since I was a teenager when I bought my first sewing machine. I have had other Singer sewing machines but none lasted nor worked as well as this one. I highly recommend it.

I'd been waiting for a while to get a heavy duty sewing machine and now I don't know why I waited so long. I do a lot of quilting so I have to have a machine that can handle the constant use and be reliable. This one is so quiet and works perfectly. I'm zooming thru my current project. The only issue I had was the manual didn't have the part numbers of the accessories. I want to get a 1/4" pressing foot and more bobbins so I had to go online to find them. But overall I'm happy I got this.

When I say that I am a beginner, I mean that I've never touched a sewing machine or watched anyone thread one in my life! I wanted a machine to fix tears, ripped seems, and make simple alterations to my clothing. The machine was incredibly easy to set up considering I had to learn each and every name for the parts. Between the manual and the user friendly getting started guide, I was ready to sew in about an hour. Keep in mine I did not have any prior knowledge about sewing machines. After my initial dissection of the instructions, I can change threads, thread the bobbin and upper thread in 1-2 minutes. I have scoured each room in my house for more sewing project. Happy sewing!!
