Instructions: Use by date on can. Use as directed by a doctor. Directions for Preparation and Use: Your baby's health depends on carefully following these directions. Proper hygiene, handling and storage are important when preparing infant formula. Failure to follow these directions could result in severe harm. Ask your baby's doctor if you need to use cooled, boiled water for mixing and if you need to boil (sterilize) bottles, nipples and rings before use. 1. Wash your hands, surfaces and utensils. Pour water into clean bottle (see mixing guide). 2. Add 1 unpacked level scoop (8.2 g) to each 2 fl oz of water. Return dry scoop to can. 3. Cap bottle; shake well; attach nipple. Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard. Storage: Once mixed, store bottles in refrigerator and feed to baby within 24 hours. Store unopened or opened container at room temperature; avoid extreme temperatures. Use opened can contents within 1 month. Mixing Guide: Measure water + add scoop(s) of unpacked level powder using enclosed scoop = finished bottle (approx). 2 fl oz water + 1 scoop (8.2 g) = 2 fl oz finished bottle (approx). 4 fl oz water + 2 scoops = 4 fl oz finished bottle (approx). 6 fl oz water + 3 scoops = 6 fl oz finished bottle (approx). 8 fl oz + 4 scoops = 8 fl oz finished bottle (approx). For larger size mixing instructions, please visit www.Similac.com/mixinginfo. Pour prepared formula into feeding bottle, cap and store in refrigerator. Use within 24 hours. Can = 59 bottles. When mixed as directed, makes approx 237 fl oz of formula.

Great formula my little one started off with Pro Advance at the hospital did great, but due to wic not covering it had to go with the regular Similac Advance which gave her alot of gas. Had to changed her to Similac Sensitive, after about 3 weeks with similac sensitive my LO ended with diarrhea for 2 weeks.Doctor thought she had a milk allergy and tried alimentum, soy, and neocate. We ended up with neocate for couple a weeks but baby didnt like and as i wasnt so convinced baby really had a milk allergy we decided to go back with similac pro advance and she ended up doing great. She didnt get diarrhea but had runny seedy poopy diapers for about 3 weeks but now she is pooping mushy again and am so happy it worked out for her she is now happy drinking her bottle.

Rash, gassy and overall miserable
Caused my 2 month old daughter to break out in a rash all over her face, neck, chest and back. Took a few weeks to figure out that it was this formula that caused the rash and the painful gas issue. After much trial and error we determine it was the HMO ingredient that she's having an allergic reaction to...thankfully similac hasn't done away with their original similac advance.

Son loves it

The lactation specialist gave my wife and I this to help our son gain weight. We were a little nervous about giving him formula. However this stuff is fantastic, our son loves it he has no problems digesting it and no side effects. We would highly recommend this to a family that is looking for a formula.

Only formula that worked for my baby.

I've heard mixed reviews about the pro advance formula but this is the formula the hospital started my newborn on and she loves it, When we arrived home from the hospital I tried using enfamil which made my baby gassy and made her spit up almost her entire bottle so I tried a few more different formulas that was more gentle or made to prevent spit up and still had issues so I had to go back to where she started and that's the pro advance formula this formula is the only one that my baby seems to be able to tolerate. she absolutely loves it and has no problem digesting it nor is fussy.

Great Formula

The hospital started us on the Pro-Advance and Ioved the added immune support for our second child. He did not tolerate the regular proadvance so we switched to the sensitive pro advance. He has not had any trouble with it. He never spits up and loves it. Would highly reccomend this formula.

My son loved it!

Before feeding my son Similac Pro-Advance, he was being fed Enfamil. The moment I made the switch I realized he loved the formula started him off with Similac Pro-Advance but have fed him Similac Pro-Sensitive and can now call myself a Similac Mom.

The very best for our baby

My daughter was born on 4/10/18. The hospital gave us a “newborn” milk. Which is fine, some kids do fabulous on it, I am sure. She started spitting up like mad, screaming, crying the whole gamut before we left the hospital even. And thus began this crazy rollercoaster ride. Pediatrician said: “milk allergy”. Neither my husband nor I believed it, but, really what the heck do we know? So they gave us Alimentum and sent us on our way. Alimentum helped, SOME, but... we knew something was wrong. Very, very wrong, Shortly after starting on Alimentum, my daughter started breathing weird, started screaming even more. Back to pediatrician, who referred us to a wonderful ENT. At the ENT she was diagnosed with Laryngomalacia and reflux. She was given medication, we were reassured that “yes” something WAS wrong, but that medication (Zantac at the time) would help with her reflux. Screaming, continued. Pediatrician put her on another formula that's also hypoallergenic....and then? Diaper rash from out of this world. Back to pediatrician. He says “go to GI”. At this point? My then 7 week old is tired. I am tired. My 3 year old is asking why the baby is always angry and my husband? Well...he's volunteering for overtime to escape the new baby. So..I secured a new script for an actual PPI, and started to question this “milk allergy” hypothesis. On a whim, and out of desperation? I tried this. Similac, I am thankful you make Alimentum for kids who TRULY need it. I am. And THANK you for your sensitive formula as it was necessary for my older child with mastocytosis, but....FROM the bottom of my heart? Thank you for your Pro-Advance formula. The crying stopped, the spitting up stopped, the diarrhea stopped. It all stopped. Some will argue that the PPI is what was the magic “cure”- and maybe it was. Maybe. I think it was the right combination of things, each playing an equally important part. She's been on this a few weeks now. Born at a healthy 7lb8oz, lost some weight through this whole ordeal and is now 11lb9oz. For her? Huge! Thank you thank you thank you thank you! I would definitely recommend this to moms & dads needing something, anything to work. I have used Similac products for all 5 of my kids- never had the opportunity (lol) to actually NEED something..ANYTHING to work the way this has for our family. I cannot thank you enough!

Awesome formula

We switched my baby to this product from Enfamil within a very short trial period. My baby immediately became less fussy. We did end up switching to pro-sensitive later on but it's still a great product

Didn't Work for my Baby

Purchased this formula because the hospital recommended it. Worked for about 5 weeks before my baby stopped drinking as much. He would cry about halfway through a bottle and scream until he was red in the face. Switched to Similac Sensitive and had similar issues.
We’re sorry to hear about your son’s troubles and we would like to chat with you to learn more about his experience. Please give us a call when you have a few minutes to spare at 800-850-7677, M-F from 8:30am-5pm, EST & reference customer# 03512001. We hope to hear from you soon!

Rash, gassy and overall miserable

I bought 2 of the 30 dollar tubs of this formula and was only able to use 1 of them. Unfortunately my grocery store won't take the unopened one back so now I'm out the 30 bucks this mess cost. It took us a total of 3 weeks to realize that the rash that developed on her face, neck, chest and back was from this formula, the HMO added into it to be exact. We Switched to this when she no longer needed the neosure and after a week she was miserable. We tryed everything for her rash and gas pains until we finally had to see her doctor about it. That's when we were told it was more than likely a reaction to the HMO ingredient and to try the regular similac advance. We did and all her symptoms were gone within days. Just because we weren't completely sure it was the formula we tryed the pro advance once more and after 2 days it became clear that the rash and gas problems were in fact from the formula. Now I'm out 30 bucks and my daughter is not the happy baby she once was. I wish I would have trusted her doctor and not tryed this mess for a 2nd time. I love the similac brand and I will continue to use the blue label regular advance formula for my daughter, I just wish it wasn't so expensive.
We're sorry to hear this and would like to speak with you to learn more about your baby's experience. Please give our team a call at 800-850-7677 Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm, EST & reference customer# 03388784. We hope to hear from you soon.
