This saves me so much time and effort.  I sew a lot and this sidewinder is the best.
Saves a lot of time in winding bobbins when i am in the middle of a project, whether it is quilting or some other project.

Time saver

I bought this because I was intrigued by it and what it could do. It looks cheap but was very effective, works well winding the bobbins evenly. I went to YouTube and watched videos on how to use. I bought it online for 18.00 had it shipped to store vs  26.00 in store.  I love it and recommend it.

Simplicity Side Winder

After my sewing machine quit filling bobbins,I chose this gadget instead of the expense of labor cost to repair. This arrived at the store sooner than expected,and losts less costly than the same item found on store.

Bobbin winder

Wonderful, you don't have to stop and rethread your machine when the bobbin runs out. This works so great that I bought 2 more for my mother and sister.

Does the job well and sure avoids the frustrations of having to unthread the sewing machine when your bobbin thread runs out.

very practical

This is such a handy little gadget. Easy to use though the instructions are a little vague and short.  I do love it though I was surprised it is all plastic.  It comes with an A/C adapter or you can use with batteries (not included).

Great value for the price,

Maybe it's just me but the one I have winds a bobbin very unevenly. I've gone back to winding a bobbin on my sewing machine instead. I can't tell if it's the little security clip that goes against the bobbin or what but every time I use it, I wind up with a bobbin threaded weird. Don't get me wrong, the bobbin is still perfectly useable in the sewing machine. It just would work better if it was wound evenly with more thread. It's probably something I'm doing wrong but I have threaded it as the instructions say. There's even a diagram on the actual unit too complete with arrows showing how to thread it to wind a bobbin. I'm not stupid, LOL. I can read and follow directions and this is a super simple thing to use. I just get uneven results every time...so I put it away for now. I do think it's a great idea and very handy to have when you just do not want to unthread a machine to wind a bobbin. You just have to make sure you happen to have another spool of that same color thread onhand or else you will be unthreading the sewing machine anyway to fill a bobbin!!

Winds Bobbin Unevenly

This seems like it might be useful, except it didn't work. Set it up, plugged it in, pressed the "on" button, and nothing happens. Unplug, put in batteries, press the "on" button and still nothing. Hope they refund my shipping costs as well and hope I can return it at the store rather than having to ship it.
