Amazing Movie For Inspiring Journalist

The movie is about a journalist named Stephen Glass who is a so called amazing writer and journalist. Stephen Glass will have a lot of his work published as his stories are good enough to be published. An other publication company read one of Glass's stories and decided to fact check it. After this Glass encounters issues of something he has dug himself into and struggles to dig himself out. This is as much that I can give without spoiling the movie. What I liked: I personally liked the building of the plot through out the story as it is perfectly timed. What I didn't like: There wasn't really anything that i disliked. Would I Recommend it?: I believe that this movie is a great movie to show in a journalism class as it teaches important lessons.

Great Movie for Journalism

A young upcoming journalists Stephen Glass working at The New Republic goes to many heights just to get fame. He starts to write outrageous stories just to keep him popular with his editor and coworkers. A few people started to get suspicious of these almost unrealistic stories. Even a few checked out the stories that Stephen Glass wrote to see if they were true. When they checked the stories out most of them wasn't true but they still went along with it. Lets just say that the movie gets more or more interesting as you reach the end. In this movie I really like how good the actors and acting was. It was so realistic and it really let you see into a life of a journalists or in a life of journalism. When the movie first came on I disliked how it took me a while to get into it and understand the plot. I would recommend this movie for high school or college student's who are interested in journalism.

Excellent Insight Into The World of Journalism

The film "Shattered Glass" centers around a young hotshot journalist named Stephen Glass. The young writer lands a job at "The New Republic", where he begins to make some great first impressions. Stephen takes on the role of "nice guy" and begins to get recognition for his outrageous stories, which gains him popularity. Despite being the popular guy, his stories aren't adding up with the facts and his rival journalist begins to realize that Stephen has be fabricating his sources. Although this movie was very entertaining, I found it to be more educational than just being something to watch. "Shattered Glass" takes you into the entire publication process and also amplifies the rules and regulations, and the consequences of breaking them. This film would be great for aspiring writers and journalist, as well as journalism students.
