I bought this TV just over a year ago. By like maybe 2 weeks to the day. Anyway, this TV is great for the price. I see some people have had shipping problems but I bought this from a Wal-Mart store. The 1080p picture is awesome! Although I got a Polk Soundbar the TV's sound is great. The remote on this TV is great! Not a Roku remote or any of the other inferior remotes out there. This has numbers on it along with the “goto” buttons like Netflix. The only thing this tv might lack is 4K quality. It's ok but not great. Might have something to do with the 60mhz refresh and not 120mhz but could be other things beyond my knowledge. All I know is I am on my second year with this TV in my den and I LOVE IT!!! I bought the extended warranty from Wal-Mart so I feel good I have at least three or four more good years with this TV. I recommend it BIG TIME.

Completely disappointed about this purchase
I have to agree with other reviews, DON'T buy this TV unless you have them test it for you in the store and you get the one tested. Do NOT buy it online because you might get a broken tv sent to you just like it happened to us. Dark spots on the left side of the screen as soon as the tv was unpacked and plugged in, no fix. I tried to get a refund but Walmart won't help.

GREAT TV!!!!!!!

I'm not sure why this TV has such a bad ratting, it's a great TV! I'm glad I didn't let the reviews scare me. TV has a great picture and the easiest TV I've ever setup. You can't find better TV for $349!!

Sharp 55 inch 4k UHD tv

What a jump...from a 43" flat screen to a 4k ultra high def tv is awesome. The sound and picture quality are wonderful. Ordering online saved me standing in line and shipping was free.

Great TV - Apps Not as Promised

I love thos TV. I read all the reviews and decided and would take the risk. I’m glad I did! The performance, connectivity and apps work great. However, some of the promised apps are not available. Hulu, HBO and other popular apps, are not available either as part of the original suite of apps or even for download. The product description does claim these apps are available. They are not. That said, great picture and sound too. I use a surround sound system, but the sound from the TV speakers are clear and crisp. If you’re not too concerned with the apps, it’s a great TV. Also, only has ONE USB port.

On the third day the tv started have line when I turned it on it would go blank do not get this tv do not buy this tv you can not listen to a home Theatre system with Digital out and tv speaker at the same time huh. Do not buy this tv TV is really a hisense band Do NOT BUY

Bought my tv on December 5th and on December 22nd came home turned in tv it has a green line all the way across the bottom of the screen. Call to do a warranty claim and I've had nothing but the run around from sharp tv warranty department. Now they are telling me they can't send a technician out to my house to repair the tv that it has to be sent in to their warehouse to be repaired. And it will not stay connected to my WiFi. So I have to buy a flash drive to download the update to install on my tv. And after being on the phone with them for over an hour telling them I'm not sending in my tv, they could get a technician to come out to fix it I was hung up on. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT buy a sharp tv.

Screen Damaged in the box

DOA - screen damaged inside the box. Outer box is fine, no sign of band or impact. Inside box is okay as well and does not shown any impact or banding marks. Yet, TV screen is cracked! Suspect the screen is damaged while it is being pack in the factory. Returned it and received the refund. However, the "Walmart Protection Plan powered by Allstate" refund is still nowhere in sign!

Customer service is not a focus

Sharp/Hisense customer service will not respond in a timely manner. I bought this TV and immediately experienced an issue when using a sound bar. Specifically I am experiencing an issue when using HDMI ARC to a sound bar that the volume is displayed every 8 seconds. (Not an issue with the sound bar as this sound bar works 100% on my 2 other Sharp TV’s via ARC). I called sharp Within hours of buying and setting up the TV. After 3 days of no call back I sent an email. After 2 more days I call again. They finally offered to email me a firmware update 24-48 hours later (this is a Thursday morning). Saturday evening I call for an update and get told Monday...Monday evening I am told it’s typically 24-48 hours. They will NOT help in a timely manner if you have an issue. I will NOT recommend Sharp products ever again.
