It is well documented that Wii has a problem with this product as well as the Counting game. The Wii controller does not respond well.

I was super excited to try this out for my two and a half year old, even though it is rated for three and up. Yep... they are right. He is too young to really understand how to play. We are working on it with him... but he still thinks it is something you are supposed to watch. He does not understand that it is interactive. Seems educational though... I'm looking forward to him getting a little older so that he can really start to take advantage.

I thought my 2 year old would love it but it was a little slow or not enough action for my 2 year old, the graphics and everything else was nice.

I purchased this for my 2 1/2 year old twin grandsons. They loved it and both progressed to level 3 by the second day they played it.

we bought this for our daughter who is just under 3 (under 3 1/2 mos only!!) and she wants nothing to do with the game...let alone gets fustrated due to the lack of movement you need for the controls!! she has issues doing the minor movements with this game, due to it not responding to the remote's commands! if I knew how horrible this would be then I would have bought something else for her! It sounds like an awesome game for learning, but doesn't seem geared right for the kids it's supposedly intended for!

Very difficult to use. My three year old wants nothing to do with it. It is hard for even my husband to get the game to recognize his movements and the instructions are not geared for small children. I am very disappointed in this product.

  • A. We purchased this game for our two and a half year old. And, he still does not really understand the concept. He thinks it is something you are supposed to watch. We are working on it with him and looking forward to him being able to play it on his own. But yes, I would say that it is probably too difficult for a two year old. But, all kids are different! And, they can always grow into it. The description claims that you can assist them with your own remote... we haven't tried that yet but that may be the answer. And, as long as it holds their attention and they think they are doing it themselves, I think it would still be worth it. I have a boy... and nothing seems to hold his attention for very long! Ha, ha!

  • A. My 2 1/2 year old grandsons play with it. So probably with a little more adult guidance your grandchild could too.

  • A. It's a little too hard for my 2yr old grandson, but if you play it with him its all good.

  • A. my son is 2 and a half and plays wii games with ease using a nintendo controller but finds the "intuitive sideways control" actions of the wii awkward (tilting action + terrible sensitivity = unplayable). This game would be easy if you could use the remote to point and click with a cursor like on the sesame street website. So, for that reason and not educationally I think it might be difficult for a two year old, because my son knows his letters. Difficulty aside, your 2 yr old will be bored with this game.... that goes for any age group. Don't buy it.

  • A. Thank you...I actually went to the store tonight to buy and then realizing how difficult is is for ME to get the Wii cursor to go where I want it, I figured it would be impossible for a 2 yr old. I appreciate your honesty!! I went with a Fisher Price product instead.
