Poor design %26 functionality.

Ordered this item to track a family member with memory issues. Item arrives, unpack, follow step by step instructions to activate. Charged fully for 24 hours, then it says to turn it on and drive with it in your car for a day or two for the GPS satellites to find it, acquire %26 lock in signal, I did all verbatim as guided. After 3 days driving around, it was never discoverable by phone app, so I emailed support. After a few emails %26 jumping through hoops, they tell me that my unit had a bad sim card, so they were sending me a new replacement. Replacement arrives 4 days later, I repeat all the set up steps again, 3 more days driving it around and still phone app wont locate it. I email support again and follow all suggestions, they still cant get it to work. I got tired of all time I wasted to use what should be a simple product. I sent both units back and canceled phone app service plan. The company made me wait until all items were returned before refunding any of my money, that took almost 2 weeks. Bottom line, there are better quality GPS trackers out there that work straight out of the box, second, with Amazon, your return refund is issued immediately with no wait. Overall, I was not satisfied with any part of my experience, other than tech support was very friendly and responsive. Purchase at your own risk, if you do, I wish you better luck than I had.
